Paul and Jamie are overdressed and overstressed when they attend a friend's wedding, where Paul blurts out an embarrassing revelation about the blushing bride. But later, a contrite Jamie confesses some secrets of her own -- intimate details Paul wishes he had never heard.

During a long weekend, stressed-out Paul and workaholic Jamie escape the city and try to unwind in a rustic country inn, but the clean air, beautiful scenery and quiet nights nearly drive the New Yorkers stir crazy. Their condition is only made worse by the knowledge that neurotic Lisa is minding their apartment.

A protective Jamie shares her doubts with Paul when her neurotic sister Lisa gleefully decides to move in with her too-perfect English boyfriend after a week of courtship. And Jamie's fears are not calmed when she learns that Bluebeard's three previous wives all met bizarre and untimely ends.

Paul is flattered when an eccentric billionaire offers him a ton of money to produce a documentary film about his life. Assisted by Steven, his keenly observant film editor, Paul, traipses after his loony subject and amasses miles of film -- but his biggest creative challenge is how to evict his chummy client when he moves in with him and Jamie.
T01:C19 - S01:E19 - The Man Who Said Hello
Paul is mortified when his star struck father calls out to talk show host Regis Philbin across a crowded theater, but his embarrassment mushrooms when an amused Regis asks the chatty old man to appear on his talk show. And when shy Paul refuses to join his pop and Jamie on camera, his cousin Ira fills in and pretends to be Paul -- all of which confuses poor Regis.
T01:C20 - S01:E20 - The Spy Girl Who Loved Me
Paul nearly drools with excitement when Jamie invites him to dinner with her client Diane Caldwell (Barbara Feldon), a sexy TV spy/heroine from the 1960s who inspired his adolescent fantasies. But he gets jealous when his equally bewitched cousin Ira horns in and disappears into the night with the slinky spy lady.
