T03:C12 - S03:E12 - South River

South River was a logging hub in Northeastern Ontario - a place that the great Tom Thomson traversed on his way to Algonquin Park. In 2012, Highway 11, which ran through the town was relocated and turned into a 4-lane highway, bypassing the community and hitting the last few businesses hard. Despite all the challenges that this community faces they continue to enjoy their picture perfect surroundings and are hoping that others come and enjoy them too.
