Robert is unwittingly involved in the pursuit of a dangerous criminal gang and finds himself under threat. But Donna's quick thinking and exceptional police work saves the days and earns her some well-deserved professional praise. However, problems in her personal life threaten to undo all of her hard work and jeopardise the job she loves.

Jo is reassigned to a domestic violence case and this time she has the means to prosecute. However, Jake's inexperience - and his relationship with defence lawyer Simon - threatens to blow her case apart. So with the end of his probation insight, has Jake jeopardised his chance to become a fully-fledged police officer?
