Tired of ping-ponging between parents for Sunday dinner, the newlyweds declare their independence by inviting both families for a formal dinner at the loft. With this one gesture, they'll establish themselves as independent while encouraging inter-parental bonding. But it soon becomes apparent that Tom and Jessie have radically different culinary takes, and the two decide to go separate ways with competing dishes.
