Faced with the question of whether to continue her relationship with Mark, Paige is won over by his heartfelt declaration that if she gives him the chance he’ll prove to her every day why he’s worth it. However, she remains uneasy, until Mark seizes the opportunity to start proving his word. Having been privately challenged by Aaron to live up to Paige’s leap of faith, Mark drops his guard with Jack, apologizing for compromising Paige and Gabe and assuring him they’re his number one priority. Less than convinced, Jack stoically accepts this – for now. Later, Mark is there to see Gabe perform a milestone moment. Eager to be inclusive, he catches it on camera – a gesture both pleasing and guilt - inducing for Paige. Trying to head off the potential for disappointment so early in their new understanding, Paige takes Gabe to Jack to have him repeat his new trick in person, but they’re interrupted by a notification that Mark has posted the video online. Suddenly aware of what Page was trying to do, Jack is also now aware that the pill he’s being forced to swallow is becoming even more bitter.
