Paris and Nicole meet Gerard and Danielle Burton and their three children. Danielle emphasizes how important it is to develop the children’s creativity. On that note, she goes over a list of things that Paris and Nicole should cover that day: painting, sculpture, music, dance and improvisation. She adds that if they have a specific project or area of interest they want to introduce to the kids, she would support that. Before leaving, Danielle makes one last request: that they don’t use profanity. Nicole starts the day with a painting exercise: the kids finger-paint the walls of their parents’ bedroom. Gerard is not at all happy with the result, especially when he sees that they painted curse words on the wall. Paris decides to utilize her acting background and teaches the kids to portray a death scene. Next on the list is sculpture, and while Paris opts to act as the model herself, Nicole enlists the pizza delivery guy to be her model. After the kids finish their sculptures, Nicole announces that they will now work on voice training. She teaches the kids proper enunciation along with a few choice words, which angers Gerard. For their final assignment, Nicole decides they should write a song about Danielle. The kids list all the things their mother does for them and Nicole turns it into an expletive laden song. She and the kids then retreat to the Gerard’s home music studio where he composes music to accompany the lyrics. Nicole raps and the kids sing back-up, resulting in a solid hit. Gerard plays the song for Paris, who thinks Nicole’s rapping leaves much to be desired but decides to produce a video for the song as her personal project with the kids. Paris puts Gerard in a wig and dress in order to portray his wife in the video. As the song is titled “It’s hard to be a Mutha”, she films Gerard cooking, cleaning and dealing with rowdy kids. She finishes editing the video just as Danielle returns home and surprises her with a screening in front of the entire family. Everyone loves the video, especially Danielle, and she thanks Paris and Nicole for their efforts.
