The Bachelorette

Twenty-nine-year-old pediatric physical therapist Trista Rehn captured the attention of more than 18 million viewers when, after a six-week courtship, "Bachelor" Alex Michel had to decide whether to continue dating her or another woman. Now, still single and optimistic about love, Trista gets to turn the tables. In the premiere episode, Trista hosts a cocktail party at her beautifully appointed "bachelorette pad" nestled high in the hills above Los Angeles. Following the same format as "The Bachelor" series, the show introduces Trista to 25 handsome and successful men. By the end of the evening, she faces the daunting task of selecting 15 she would like to know better and presents each one with a single red rose. The men who accept the rose will then move into a house together for much of their courtship with Trista. At the end of the romantic journey, she will have had yet another unforgettable experience and, quite possibly, have found true love. But the big question is: After all of this, will her choice lead to a marriage proposal? And if so, who will do the asking?
