Battlestar Galactica (Classic)

When a food crisis strikes, Commander Adama decides to trade machinery for seed with colonists on a nearby planet. Unfortunately, the only exchangeable equipment belongs to the Commander's childhood sweetheart. Determined to rekindle an old flame, the woman trades her machinery for Adama's affections. After launching a trading party to Serenity, a rural human colony terrorized by a band of boar-like brutes, Adama and his men soon fall prey to the crafty farmers. By stealing the Galactica’s barter and conning Starbuck into the short-lived occupation of sheriff, the Serenity citizens deviously enlist the battlestar warriors in their fight against the animal-like marauders.
