Case Histories

Brodie is the lone witness to a possible drowning in the Firth of Forth when he spots a woman's body in the water — but is unable to prevent it from floating out to sea. The police appear less than enthusiastic about investigating, so Brodie decides to do it himself. In other events, a crime novelist intervenes in a case of road rage, and a comatose crook's wife and dominatrix bond unexpectedly.
