Brother's Keeper

TIN-SENG has been working hard to upgrade himself for CHEUK CHING and LAI-KUEN finally accepts him. CHEUK CHING's partner JOYCE will be returning to England with her husband and LAI-KUEN suggests her to take up JOYCE's shop. Hong Kong is returned to China in July 1997. TIN-SENG continues to achieve excellent results in his career and he becomes the chief inspector. His father KIU SUM has retired. The social public order of Macau is getting worse and Law Shun Kei's business is very poor. MAN-YING suggests WAI-SHUN to sell candies on the street. During a meeting with people from the same industry, WAI-SHUN suggests everybody to join hand together and refuse to pay protection fees but KWONG-KAM objects the idea. FU-SHING is sent to the hospital because of heart disease. MAN-YING therefore decides to borrow money from her father but she is shocked that SIU-HUNG has stolen their money. MAN-YING and WAI-SHUN discover that the gang leader AH WAH is LUNG FEI's cousin. They suspect that KWONG-KAM has colluded with AH WAH. AH WAH's people attack WAI-SHUN and MAN-YING. They then set Law Shun Kei on fire...
