Columbo

At a formal dinner, Clifford Calvert (Barry Corbin), a flamboyant financier, encounters Howard Seltzer (Raye Birk), a former business partner who is now suing him for unscrupulous practices. Heated words are exchanged, and Calvert punches Seltzer. His wife, Kathleen (Shera Danese), is humiliated at Calvert’s behavior and escorts him out. Later, during a tryst with her lover, Patrick (David Rasche), Kathleen dreams up a way to get her husband out of the picture so that they can enjoy his riches.
