Sophia pulls rank to stay behind and investigate a jewelry theft from the comfort of the SIU offices while Zoe and Dan are sent out of the city to investigate the death of a well insured bull. But between digging her heels out of manure, being shot at by a suspicious rancher, and a fast approaching storm which forces Dan and Zoe to share the only available motel room in town, country life isn’t exactly what Zoe had planned.
