1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION
Tubi (“Tubi” or “we”) wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose information from and about you. This Privacy Policy describes our practices in connection with information collected through services such as websites, mobile sites, applications (“Apps”), and widgets that link to or are otherwise subject to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Tubi Services”). By using Tubi Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. A list of our affiliated companies (“Tubi Affiliates”) is available at www.foxcorporation.com.
Certain states require us to make additional disclosures in our Privacy Policy. California residents, please see the California Consumer Privacy Notice in Section 9 below. Consumers in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and other states with similar privacy laws, please see Section 10 below.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including both those who use the Tubi Services without being registered with the Tubi Services and those who have registered an account with the Tubi Services. This Privacy Policy applies to Tubi’s collection and use of your personal information (i.e., information that identifies a specific person, such as full name or email address). Please note that the information that we may collect, use, and/or disclose varies based upon a user’s interactions with the Tubi Services.
As set forth in our Terms of Use at tubitv.com/static/terms, individuals under the age of 13 (or the age set by applicable laws) may not register an account with Tubi. The Tubi Services are not intended to be used by children without the involvement, supervision, and approval of a parent or guardian. For more information, please see our Children’s Privacy notice in Section 6 below.
2. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Depending on your interactions with us, Tubi and our service providers may collect the following information from and about you:
Registration Information is information you submit to register for the Tubi Services, for example, to create an account, receive a newsletter, or enter a contest or sweepstakes. Registration Information may also include, for example, name, account name, email address, gender, zip code, and age. Certain of your registration information such as user/display name, profile picture/cover image, and activity may be publicly available within Social Engagement Features of the Tubi Services.
Customer Service, Feedback, and Similar Information is information you elect to provide to us during your interactions with the Tubi Services or us, such as when you submit a request to customer support, when you provide feedback about the Tubi Services, surveys, or polls you choose to participate in, or when you post or react to comments. This information may include your name, email address, state/province/territory, device-related information, and the content of your post or communication to us.
User-Uploaded Content consists of content you upload or post on or through the Tubi Services, such as video, audio recordings, text, photographs, and other material, whether on or through Apps or other widgets made available by or on behalf of Tubi.
Public Information and Posts. The comment or content that you post to the Tubi Services and the information about you that accompanies those posts or content, which may include a name, username, comments, likes, status, profile information, picture, and other material that you upload using the Tubi Services. Public Information and Posts are always public, which means they are available to everyone and may be displayed on other platforms, such as within search results on external search engines, or on social media pages or channels.
Information from Social Media. If you access or log-in to the Tubi Services through a social media service or connect the Tubi Services to a social media service, the information we collect may also include your user ID and/or user name associated with that social media service, any information or content you have permitted the social media service to share with us, such as your profile picture, email address or friends lists, and any information you have made public in connection with that social media service. When you access the Tubi Services through social media services or when you connect the Tubi Services to social media services, you are authorizing Tubi to collect, store, and use that information and content in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Activity Information. When you access and interact with the Tubi Services, Tubi and its service providers may collect certain information about those visits and your usage of the Tubi Services. For example, in order to enable your connection to the Tubi Services, your device sends, and our servers receive and record, information about your computer, device, and browser, including your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. If you access the Tubi Services from a mobile or other device, we may collect a unique identifier assigned to that device, or other transactional information for that device. In certain circumstances, we also may collect general location information, such as the city, state, and country where the device is located. If you interact with other users and the content they post through Social Engagement Features, such as following, re-posting, reacting to, sharing, or bookmarking within the Apps, we collect this information to make the Tubi Services more useful to you. Users may see who follows them, so if you follow a user that user will see that you followed them, including your Public Information described above.
Cookies and other tracking technologies (such as browser cookies, pixels, beacons, local storage, and other mechanisms) use various approaches to collect and store data. Some of these technologies store data in the browser or on your device. Other technologies may use network-related or other information to recognize your device (such as IP address). The Tubi Services may use these technologies, for example, when you first request a web page and to store data on your computer or other device so the Apps can access information when you make subsequent requests for pages from the Tubi Services. Depending on your interactions with us, these technologies may also be used to collect and store information about your usage of the Tubi Services, such as pages you have visited, search history, and the video and other content you have viewed.
Other parties that support the Tubi Services, for example, by serving advertisements, providing analytics, or other services, may also use these technologies to collect similar information when you use the Tubi Services or other parties’ services. Those other parties may also use these technologies, along with activity information they collect, to recognize you across the devices you use, such as a mobile device and a laptop or other computer. In some circumstances, their use is governed by the privacy policies of parties using such technologies. For more information about advertising networks and similar entities that use these technologies, including your choices with respect to them, see the section entitled “To deliver relevant advertisements,” below.
Your browser may be initially set to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to notify you when a cookie is being set or updated, and to block cookies altogether. Please consult the Help section of your browser for more information, including on how to clear data from local storage and, depending on your browser, how to turn off other data collection by the browser. For more information about Google Analytics, please review the site “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services,” located at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, please go to tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Please note that by blocking any or all cookies you may not have access to certain features, content, or personalization available through the Tubi Services.
The Tubi Services that enable you to view Tubi video content may feature Nielsen’s proprietary measurement software which will allow you to contribute to market research, like Nielsen’s TV Ratings. The information is collected directly by Nielsen’s software within the applicable Tubi Services. Tubi makes no representation or warranty to you regarding the Nielsen software. Social Engagement Information. We collect information that you provide on or through Social Engagement Features on the Tubi Services, such as through posts, comments, voting, reactions, following creators and/or other users, and when you submit moderation reports. That information includes the content of the social engagement itself (e.g., of a post or comment) and other information about it, such as when it was sent and delivered. Depending on the type of social engagement, some information will be publicly available (e.g., posts, comments, and votes) on the Tubi Services and other platforms, such as through Social Engagement Features, in search results on external search engines, and on other social media pages and channels.
Information from Other Sources. We may supplement the information we collect with information from other sources, such as publicly available information about your online and offline activity from social media services, advertising technology companies, advertisers, commercially available sources, and information from our Tubi Affiliates or business partners.
Depending on your interactions with us, Tubi may not have collected information from you for each of the categories above.
“Do Not Track”. At this time, we do not respond to the “Do Not Track” signal, as we await the work of interested stakeholders and others to develop standards for how the “Do Not Track” signal should be interpreted.
3. USE AND DISCLOSURE
We may use and disclose some or all of the information we collect from and about you for the purposes listed below. Please note that these uses and disclosures may vary based on your interactions with us.
To provide the Tubi Services. We use information we collect from and about you to provide the Tubi Services and features to you. This may include:
to measure, maintain and improve those Tubi Services and features and to develop new products and services, including conducting research and quality and safety assurance measures;
to improve your experience with both online and off-line Tubi Services by delivering content you will find more relevant and interesting, including advertising and marketing messages;
to perform identity verification;
to allow you to comment on content, to submit User-Uploaded Content, and participate in Social Engagement Features, online games, contests, other promotions, or rewards programs;
to provide you with customer support and to respond to inquiries; this may include the use of chatbots. Please note that your inquiries and responses to these chatbots may be transcribed and retained;
to moderate content, including User-Uploaded Content, reported to us;
to provide you with content and advertising that is more interesting, personalized, and relevant to you (including, in certain circumstances, by making predictions and inferences about your interests);
to maintain our facilities and infrastructure;
to comply with internal policies, including accounting, audit, and other internal functions; and
to maintain records, conduct risk and security controls and monitoring.
To deliver video content. In the ordinary course of our business, we may use and share information that we collect from or about you with other parties in order to process your requests and fulfill your orders for video content offered through the Tubi Services, including to provide you with access to localized content and video content recommendations.
To allow service providers to assist us in providing and managing the Tubi Services. The information we collect from and about you may be made available to certain service providers, such as contractors, chatbot providers, analytics and other measurement companies, and agents or sponsors, who help us analyze and understand your use of the Tubi Services, and manage and/or provide the Tubi Services, including to deliver videos, make our Apps available for download, register a Tubi account, organize contests or events, or deliver updates and emails from Tubi.
To allow social sharing functionality. If you log in with or connect a social media service account with the Tubi Services, we may share your name, username, and picture with other Tubi users and with your friends associated with your social media service. We may also share the same information with the social media service provider. By logging in with or connecting your Tubi Services account with a social media service, you are authorizing us to share certain information we collect from and about you with the social media service provider, other users and your friends and you understand that the social media service’s use of the shared information will be governed by the social media service’s privacy policy. If you do not want your personal information shared in this way, please do not connect your social media service account with your Tubi account and do not participate in Social Engagement Features on the Tubi Services.
To enable Tubi Social Engagement Features. If you create a profile, or participate in social engagement features on the Tubi Services, such as following, reacting to, posting User-Uploaded Content, or commenting on others’ User-Uploaded Content or profiles (collectively, “Social Engagement Features”), we may use your user or display name, profile picture/cover image, comments, and other activity to provide the Social Engagement Features and to facilitate interactions or engagement with other users using the Social Engagement Features on the Tubi Services.
To process User-Uploaded Content. User-Uploaded Content, including any personal information (e.g., video, audio recordings, photos, etc.) you provide or post on or through the Tubi Services, may be used publicly on the Tubi Services or by the Tubi Affiliates, published on our social media pages or channels on other platforms and republished by others from those pages or channels, posted and displayed on or through the Social Engagement Features on the Tubi Services, or published as part of our Tubi Services. Whether we publish any piece of User-Uploaded Content is at our sole discretion and is subject to our Terms of Use at www.tubitv.com/static/terms. You should not upload or post materials that reveal your sensitive personal information or the personal information of others. If you do not wish to disclose metadata to us that may be associated with your User-Uploaded Content, you should either refrain from uploading that User-Uploaded Content or take steps to remove such metadata from the User-Uploaded Content prior to providing it to us.
To provide co-branded services and features. We may offer co-branded services or features, such as contests, sweepstakes or other promotions or features together with other companies (“Co-Branded Services”). These Co-Branded Services may be hosted on the Tubi Services or on that other party’s service. By virtue of these relationships, we may share information you submit in connection with the Co-Branded Service with that party. That other party’s use of your information will be governed by its privacy policy.
To deliver relevant advertisements. Tubi and our service providers may use the information we collect from and about you as described in this Privacy Policy to deliver and measure more relevant, personalized ads to you when you use the Tubi Services or another service (on any of your devices). This may include, for example, sharing certain information with advertising technology companies (e.g., identity partners), such as an advertising identifier for your device, IP address, or a “hash” of an identifier (i.e., a value generated using a cryptographic hash algorithm.) In some instances, these entities may return an online identification code that we may store in a first party cookie, or other similar technology, for our use in online and cross-channel advertising and it may be shared with advertising companies to enable interest-based and targeted advertising. As noted above, advertising technology companies and advertisers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as demographic information, inferred interests, aggregated information, and information about the different devices and/or browsers you use and your activity on such devices and browsers, to assist them in delivering advertising that is more relevant to your interests. Such information may also be used to deliver more relevant advertising to you across marketing channels, including email. If you wish to opt out of tailored advertising in desktop and mobile browsers, please visit optout.aboutads.info/#/ or optout.networkadvertising.org/# on each of your devices and browsers. To opt-out in mobile apps, you may use your device’s setting to opt-out of ads personalization or similar settings or download and use the AppChoices app at youradchoices.com/appchoices. To opt-out on connected TVs, please use the setting “opt out of ads personalization,” “Interest-based Ads,” or equivalent settings on your device. Please note that opting out does not mean that you will stop seeing all ads.
To contact you. Tubi may periodically send promotional materials or notifications related to the Tubi Services. If you want to stop receiving promotional materials, you can change your account setting in the “settings” function of the Tubi Services or follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. There are certain service notifications and other non-promotional emails that you may not opt-out of, such as notifications of changes to the Tubi Services or policies. If you have installed a mobile app and you wish to stop receiving push notifications, you can change the settings either on your mobile device or through the app.
To share with Tubi Affiliates. Tubi may share information we collect about you with Tubi Affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. A link to a website with information about our Tubi Affiliates can be found at the beginning of this policy. Users who visit Tubi Affiliates’ services should still refer to their separate privacy policies, which may differ in some respects from this Privacy Policy.
To share with business partners. Tubi may share information we collect about you as described in this Privacy Policy with business partners to permit them to send you marketing communications consistent with your choices.
To protect the rights of Tubi and others. There may be instances when Tubi may use or disclose information we collect about you as described in this Privacy Policy, including situations where Tubi has a good faith belief that such use or disclosure is necessary in order to: (i) protect, enforce, or defend the legal rights, privacy, safety, or property of Tubi, Tubi Affiliates or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements and our terms of use); (ii) protect the safety, privacy, and security of users of the Tubi Services or members of the public; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; (iv) comply with the law or legal process; or (v) respond to requests from public and government authorities.
To complete a merger or sale of assets or other corporate transaction. If Tubi sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of its assets or is otherwise involved in an acquisition, reorganization, merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business (including in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings) or other corporate transaction, Tubi may transfer or disclose information we collect about you as described in this Privacy Policy to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
Depending on your interactions with us, Tubi may not have collected, used, or disclosed information from or about you in each of the categories above, and to the extent that Tubi has disclosed information from or about you, it may not include all of the information that we collect from and about you as described in this Privacy Policy.
Please note that when the information collected from or about you does not identify you as a specific person, we may use that information for any purpose or share it with other parties, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. SECURITY
Tubi uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures designed to safeguard information in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. However, no one can guarantee the complete safety of your information.
5. ACCOUNT ACCESS AND CONTROL
This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who uses the Tubi Services. If you choose to share your Tubi account with others, information about your use of the Tubi Services, including your account settings, viewing history, continue watching titles, recommendations, and similar information may be visible to others with whom you share your Tubi account.
If you would like to access personal information we hold about you, delete, or correct personal information that you have previously provided directly to us, please visit www.tubitv.com/privacy/mydata or www.tubitv.com/privacy/delete or www.tubitv.com/privacy/correction and submit a request. Please note that, for security reasons, we will ask you to verify your identity in order to proceed with your request. If you would like to suppress or otherwise limit our use of your personal information, please visit www.tubitv.com/privacy/opt-out. If you are having difficulty submitting a request through our Apps, you may also contact us at www.tubitv.com/static/support. In your request, please include your email address and specify the details of your request clearly. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with applicable law. Please note that, subject to applicable law, in some cases we may not comply with your request where we may require your information in order to comply with applicable law, or to protect, enforce or defend our rights or employee rights, or those of a Tubi Affiliate.
If you are a resident of California, please see the section entitled “California Consumer Privacy Notice,” below, for more information about the rights you have under California law. If you are a resident of another US state with similar privacy laws, please see the section entitled “Privacy Notice for Consumers in Other U.S. States,” below, for more information about your rights under your local privacy laws.
If you are under 18 and a registered user of the Tubi Services, you may ask us to remove content or information that you have posted to the Tubi Services by contacting us at www.tubitv.com/static/support. Please note that your request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information, as, for example, some of your content may have been reposted by another user.
You may request that we not share your personal information on a going-forward basis with Tubi Affiliates or unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes, such as under California’s Shine the Light law, by submitting a request at www.tubitv.com/static/support. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with applicable law.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
This Section explains how Tubi collects, uses, and discloses personal information, as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and other applicable laws, of users under the age of 13 (or the age set by applicable laws) that is collected through the Tubi Services.
What areas of Tubi can I use to manage Tubi Services for my kids?
At Tubi, we offer two key features to manage the experience for children: Tubi Kids Accounts and Tubi Kids Mode.
A Tubi Kids Account is an account linked to your Tubi account. As a parent or guardian, you create and manage the Tubi Kids Account. Each Tubi Kids Account you create has its own settings that you, the adult, control. Tubi Kids Mode is a quick way for you to switch the entire Tubi experience, temporarily, to a kid-friendly viewing environment. For more information, please see this Help Center article.
What personal information does Tubi collect when my child uses Tubi?
Tubi and its service providers may collect:
Tubi Kids Account Name: We ask you, the parent or guardian, to name your Tubi accounts, including Tubi Kids Accounts, so that you can easily select between your accounts, but you have full creative control.
Parental Controls and Settings: If you change account settings or choose to select an age rating for the Tubi content that can be viewed, we will remember those settings, and associate them with your Tubi account(s), including the linked Tubi Kids Account(s).
Online Identifiers and Activity: Whenever someone uses an area of Tubi intended for children, including Tubi Kids Mode and Tubi Kids Accounts, your device automatically sends Tubi the technical information needed to maintain a network connection and use the Tubi Services. We collect that technical information from the device(s) needed to communicate with Tubi, including an IP address or a device identifier. We use these online identifiers to support the operations of the Tubi Services. For example, we use this information to remember a show that the user saves to a watchlist.
How does Tubi use this information?
We use this information to provide the Tubi Services, including:
To operate and improve the Tubi Services.
To authenticate users of, personalize the content on, maintain or analyze the functioning of the Tubi Services.
To perform network communications.
To show contextual ads, to limit how many times a user sees the same ad, and to measure performance.
To enable the Parental Controls you set, the user’s viewing history, and their watchlist.
To secure the Tubi Services, especially users accessing Tubi Kids Mode and Tubi Kids Account.
To ensure legal or regulatory compliance.
We have implemented appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational measures so that persistent identifiers collected from children (for example, in Tubi Kids Mode and Tubi Kids Accounts) are not used or disclosed except for the purposes of internal operations specified in this Section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
How does Tubi disclose this information?
We may disclose personal information that we collect to certain service providers and Tubi Affiliates that perform internal operations functions for Tubi.
We may also be required to disclose personal information as described in Section 3, above, under “to protect the rights of Tubi and others,” and “to complete a merger or sale of assets or other corporate transaction.”
We do not enable children to make personal information publicly available through the Tubi Services.
Creating a Tubi Kids Account
Only a parent or guardian may create a Tubi Kids Account and it is permanently linked to their adult’s Tubi account. By creating a Tubi Kids Account, you are confirming you are the parent or legal guardian of any child who will use it. When you create a Tubi Kids Account linked to your Tubi account, you will first need to securely log in to your Tubi account to approve the creation of a linked Tubi Kids Account, as the parent or legal guardian. You will also receive an email notification confirming the account’s creation.
What are my rights as a parent or legal guardian?
As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to:
Review the personal information Tubi collected from your child.
Request that we delete this information.
Ask us to stop further collection or use of information about your child.
You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us as outlined in Section 8. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and in accordance with the law.
How long does Tubi retain this information?
We will retain an Account Name and Parental Controls and Settings associated with a Tubi Kids Account in order to administer the account for as long as the account is active, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by applicable law. We may retain Online Identifiers and Activity information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the internal operations purposes specified in this Section 6, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by applicable law.

7. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Updates to Privacy Policy. Tubi may modify this Privacy Policy at any time by posting an updated policy on the Tubi Services. Please look at the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy to see when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Tubi Services.
Location of Data. The Tubi Services are hosted in and managed from the United States. If you are a user located outside the United States, you understand and consent to having any personal information processed in the United States or in any other country in which we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. The United States and other countries’ data protection laws may not be the same as those in your jurisdiction. In certain circumstances, courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies or security authorities in the United States may be entitled to access your personal information.
Linked Services. The Tubi Services may be linked to sites operated by unaffiliated companies, and may carry advertisements or offer content, functionality, games, newsletters, contests or sweepstakes, or applications developed and maintained by unaffiliated companies. Tubi is not responsible for the privacy practices of unaffiliated companies, and once you leave the Tubi Services or click an advertisement, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the other service.
In addition, Tubi is not responsible for the privacy or data security practices of other organizations, such as Meta, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Apple, Google, Microsoft or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer, including in connection with any information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Tubi Services.
Data Retention. We will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.
Remember that even after you cancel your account, or if you ask us to delete your personal information, copies of some information from your account may remain viewable in some circumstances where, for example, you have shared information with social media or other services. Because of the nature of caching technology, your account may not be instantly inaccessible to others. We may also retain backup information related to your account on our servers for some time after cancellation or your request for deletion, for fraud detection or to comply with applicable law or our internal security or recordkeeping policies. It may not always be possible to completely remove or delete all of your information due to technical constraints or contractual, financial, or legal requirements.
Deidentified Information. To the extent we process “deidentified” personal information, as defined under applicable law, we will maintain and use that information in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify the information except as permitted by applicable law.

Sources of Personal Information. We collect Personal Information directly from California residents themselves, as well as from social media platforms (e.g., if the individual has connected a social media account to the Tubi Services); joint marketing, co-branding, co-promotional, or advertising partners, including advertising technology companies and advertisers; Tubi Affiliates; and external sources of demographic and other information. Depending on the individual’s interactions with us, Tubi may not have collected Personal Information from each (or any) of these categories of sources.
Purposes. We may use this Personal Information and/or disclose it to external parties for the following purposes:
to provide our products and services;
to accomplish our business purposes and objectives, including:
developing, improving, repairing, and maintaining our products and services;
personalizing, advertising, and marketing our products and services;
conducting research, analytics, and data analysis;

Data Retention. We will retain Personal Information from or about you as reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve the purpose(s) for which the Personal Information was collected or processed as outlined in this Section 9 unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.
Tubi Notice of Financial Incentive. This notice applies to our offers or programs (“Tubi Incentives”), that link to this section of our privacy policy and which California may consider to be a financial incentive. You can opt-in to participate in a Tubi Incentive by providing your email address, age, or other personal information. In exchange for providing your personal information and depending on the Tubi Incentive in which you participate, you may be able to access certain content, features, or events, receive a discount from a Tubi partner, or receive other special benefits or entitlements. We will, in turn, use your personal information for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy, to send you alerts and marketing messages and to show you content recommendations and tailored advertising that may be more interesting to you.

If you have an account/profile with us, your preference will apply to the device(s) connected to your logged-in account or profile for the Tubi Services. If you do not have an account, or choose not to log-in to your account on a device, you will need to select your preference on each device you use to access the Tubi Services.
5. Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. Certain pieces of Personal Information that we may collect may be considered “sensitive personal information” under California laws. You may request that we limit our use and disclosure of this information, subject to the exceptions provided in the CCPA Regulations section 7027(m) (such as to provide the Tubi Services and for security purposes). You or your authorized agent may make a request to limit our use of this “sensitive personal information” by visiting www.tubitv.com/privacy/sensitive.
6. Right to be Free from Discrimination. You have the right to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your rights under the CCPA.
7. Shine the Light. As explained in Section 5, you may request that we not share your Personal Information on a going-forward basis with Tubi Affiliates or unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes by submitting a request at www.tubitv.com/static/support. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with applicable law.
8. Record Keeping.
Tubi’s CCPA metrics for the 2024 reporting period are as follows:
Requests for Deletion: Tubi received 35 requests by individuals identifying as California residents to delete their personal information during the 2024 reporting period through its designated methods of submission. Of those requests, Tubi complied, in whole or in part, with 19 requests. Tubi denied 16 requests because the request was not verifiable, the request was duplicative, the request could not be processed based on the information provided, or on other legal grounds.
Requests to Correct: Tubi received 7 requests by individuals identifying as California residents to correct their personal information during the 2024 reporting period through its designated methods of submission. Of those requests, Tubi complied, in whole or in part, with 0 requests. Tubi denied 7 requests because the request was not verifiable, the request was duplicative, the request could not be processed based on the information provided, or on other legal grounds.
Requests to Know: Tubi received 8 requests from individuals identifying as California residents to access their personal information during the 2024 reporting period through its designated methods of submission. Of those requests, Tubi complied, in whole or in part, with 1 request. Tubi denied 7 requests because the request was not verifiable, the request was duplicative, the request could not be processed based on the information provided, or on other legal grounds.
Requests to Opt Out of “Sales”: Tubi shares some categories of Personal Information in connection with certain types of advertisements, which could be considered a “sale” under California law. Tubi provides a Do Not Sell My Personal Information link on its websites and through this Privacy Policy. Tubi received 437 requests to opt out of “sales” of personal information during the 2024 reporting period through those mechanisms. Of those requests, Tubi complied, in whole or in part, with 297 requests. Tubi denied 140 requests, in whole or in part, because the request could not be processed based on the information provided or on other legal grounds.
Requests to Limit: Tubi received 98 requests by individuals identifying as California residents to limit the use of “sensitive personal information” collected about them during the 2024 reporting period through its designated methods of submission. Of those requests, Tubi complied, in whole or in part, with 70 requests. Tubi denied 28 requests, in whole or in part, because the request could not be processed based on the information provided or on other legal grounds.
Response Timing: In 2024, the median number of days within which Tubi substantively responded to requests to delete, requests to correct, and requests to know was 14 days. The median number of days within which Tubi substantively responded to requests to opt-out of sale or sharing and requests to limit the use of sensitive personal information was 3 days.
10. PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CONSUMERS IN OTHER U.S. STATES
Depending on where you live, you may have certain additional rights regarding your personal information. This section provides information for consumers residing in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with similar privacy laws. For purposes of this Section, “Personal Data” generally means information that identifies, relates to, or describes a particular consumer residing in the states listed above in this Section or other state with a similar privacy law and includes the categories listed below. 6. Right to Appeal.
