Driven to Distraction
Three daring teams of non-drivers and their long-suffering partners compete against each other to learn to drive and win a brand new car. The series challenges these non-drivers by placing them in various real life scenarios that teach them the key skills required to pass a driving test. However, the long-suffering drivers are going to have to turn instructor and teach their stubborn non-driving partners how to drive.

S01:E01 - Episode 1
When it comes to getting behind the wheel, there's always one person who gets stuck with the school run or as designated driver because their other half doesn't drive... until now! Presented by Tim Shaw (Fifth Gear), expect fireworks as friends, flatmates, family members and couples are strapped into cars together, as the novices are taught how to drive by their partners, desperate for them to share the driving duties. With a brand new car up for grabs, the pressure's on - will they succeed or stall? In this EP0there are three challenges: Sidestreet Slalom (where they have to negotiate a couse down the alleyway and back not bumping into things. Only problem is an ambulance suddenly appears and pressurises them back down the alley. Tea Party Smash (where they have to run a speed bumped course in a loop - but the passenger has to pour out 4 cups of afternoon tea as they go - and they have to do it in a Robin Reliant. Finally the Ramp of Doom where contestants have to successsfully mount the 'teeter totter' ramp
S01:E02 - Episode 2
In this week's episode, three teams each comprising a terrible L-plater and an aggravated partner go all-out in a bid to win a shiny new car. After just one week of coaching from their team-mates, our loopy learners face three gob-smacking challenges. This week's EP0sees them attempt a reverse parallel park, with just one little complication, they're driving a double-decker bus. Qualified police driver Deklin in Team A, constantly barks instructions in partner Katie's ears, making it impossible for her to concentrate. Will he learn to zip his mouth in time for Katie to redeem her driving? In team B, Kirsty has typical big-sister syndrome, she never listens to anything her baby sister Tania says, and in Team C, mumAnn McLauley drives daughter Alana everywhere she needs to go but she's finally laid down the law. S01:E03 - Episode 3
In this week's episode, three teams each comprising a terrible L-plater and an aggravated partner go all-out in a bid to win a shiny new car. This week's EP0sees them attempt an emergency-stop with terrifying results when they face an artificial avalanche which blocks the road ahead, and when our learners try to squeeze into the tiniest parking spots in a multi-storey car-park, disaster, mayhem and the sacrifice of several wing mirrors and door panels ensues. As usual, our Learner drivers endeavors are complicated by the fact that they are being taught to drive by their nearest and dearest. Ever since an embarrassing incident with a driving instructor Hairdressing mum Sara has been trying to teach darling daughter Jessica to drive -, but Sara is no disciplinarian and tensions run high. Meanwhile Mark and Donna must surely take the medal for the most shouty couple ever, despite having managed to produce 5 kids in between rows. In this weeks final episode, we've assembled 3 teams, each comprising of a dreadful learner and their long suffering partner, fed up of taxiing them around. We've given them just a weeks worth of practice at the hands of their frustrated partner, and they've attempted to master the basics of driving. They'll now go head to head to compete in 3 devilish driving challenges for the chance to win a brand new car. This week's EP0sees our learners attempt Blindfold Bedlam',Backwards Multistorey', and of course the Ramp of Doom'. Team A are Yorkshire dad Mark and his unemployed son Adam - best of luck to them as Adam has failed a whopping, thirteen times! Team B are childhood sweethearts Alex and Sarah from Peterborough.
