Monkey See Monkey Do

It's cold weather and Monkey has made a banana peel scarf for Parrot but that is not very warming or comfortable. Mole appears and tells them about sheep and her famously warm wool. Monkey feels that it would be the perfect textile to use and so they fly off to the farm. At first monkey mistakes sheep for a cloud but when as he watches her closely he understands who she is. Watching her inspires monkey to invite Sheep to a fun game of MSMD. Before parting, Sheep offers them a bundle of wool. Back at the campsite Monkey is now wearing a wool scarf and hat and has finished knitting something for parrot. He then brings it over… and puts a beak warmer on Parrots beak... needless to say, Parrot is left speechless.

Monkey is lying on the ground with orange floating devices. When Parrot asks what he is up to, Monkey explains that he is practicing for the world Floating championship but when he does it in the water he always sinks. Mole appears and tells them about Alligator's impressing floating abilities and they decide to go to the lake and pay him a visit. When they meet Alligator they watch how she uses tail movement to float, that inspires a fun game of MSMD. Back at the camp, Parrot is lying on the ground and monkey thinks he is practicing flouting… that's not the way to do it... monkey moves parrot into a bath just to discover Parrot was only watching the clouds…good thing Parrot loves the cool change..

Monkey has designed a paper airplane, he boasts how this will be the fastest paper airplane ever. But when he throws it, the plane immediately falls to the ground. Mole appears and tells them about how Eagles are famous for their amazing flying and gliding abilities. Monkey decides to fly off to the tundra in search of Bald Eagle. When they meet Eagle they are impressed by his keen eye site and fast flying as he spotted Monkey's paper plane on the ground and glides down to get it. When Eagle lands in his nest, Monkey joins him and invites him to a fun game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, monkey is building his latest model... he picks it up and its as big as the eagle... parrot stands next to him and as Monkey throws the plain into the air it wooshes by them lifting parrot up and carries him off…

Parrot is trying to fall asleep but monkey continuously disturbs him. Mole appears and tells them that the sounds of the ocean are known to having a calming effect. They fly to the ocean, where they bump into what appears to be an island but is soon revealed as an opera singing whale on her way to choir practice. They dive after her and invite her to play MSMD. Back at the campsite, Parrot is finally a sleep. Monkey decides to join him filling the air with the noise of his snores…

Monkey's enormous pile of coconuts falls into parrot’s hammock and rips it. Monkey looks for a needle to fix it. Mole suggests going to Hedgehog, whose back is covered with prickly needle like spines. They fly off to the forest and meet the shy hedgehog who gives them a needle and plays a game of MSMD (=Monkey See Monkey Do) with them. Back at the campsite monkey has fixed parrot's hammock by woven a big heart, in it the two figures of parrot and monkey.

The chef Monkey wants to make his famous banana honey sandwich. He discovers that there is no honey, parrot eat it all. Mole appears and tells them of the bee's honey making abilities. They journey off to the meadow where they meet a sweet honeybee who not only supplies them with honey, but also joins them in a fun game of MSMD!!! Back at the campsite, Monkey has just finished preparing one of his sandwiches and offers the first bite to Parrot. Parrot bites into it and takes out a banana peel from his beak…ooops!!!

Monkey and Parrot are rehearsing for a talent show... a synchronized dance number... but of course they are anything but synchronized... Mole then appears and tells them of how Swans are known for their graceful couple's dance. They decide to go to the lake and learn from the masters. When they arrive they are dazzled by swans' dual dance and invite them to play MSMD. They understand that dancing together requires being attentive to one another. Back at the campsite, we now see Monkey and Parrot in a marvelous synchronized piece until monkey opens his arms in a “du duuuu” movement and whacks parrot out….

It is nap time at the campsite but monkey can't fall asleep so he is walking back and forth counting his footsteps. With all this noise Parrot can't nap either. Mole then appears and tells them about how bears can sleep for months during the cold winters. Monkey hopes that Bear can help him fall asleep so they venture over to the tundra. There they meet a young Grizzly bear cub who too has problems going to sleep. Bear joins them for a fun game of MSMD but as snow starts falling he starts feeling very sleepy. Back at the campsite site, we see parrot trying to nap when we hear chattering of teeth; Monkey is sitting in a bath full of ice cubes hoping that if he sat in the cold ice it would help him hibernate...

Monkey is playing basketball but each time he tries to dunk, the coconut flies off and hits poor Parrot...Mole appears and tells them dolphins are known for their ability to leap high into the air... off they go in search for dolphin in the sea, when they see dolphin dives in they follow. They invite dolphin to play MSMD and learn how practice makes perfect. Back at the campsite monkey is about to show off his new jumping and dunking skills, he soars up and this time he and the coconut land in parrots' arms...

Monkey and parrot are playing hide and seek, Monkey is boasting of his great hiding skills when in fact Parrot finds him each time. Mole suggests going to Chameleon who is known as the hiding expert.... They are off to the forest to find the chameleon. Chameleon gives them some hiding tips and joins them in a fun game of MSMD!!! Back at the campsite, parrot sits in his hammock but feels uncomfortable... he realizes it's actually monkey who has camouflaged himself to look like a hammock...

Monkey the artist is looking for something to draw but nothing inspires him. Mole appears and shares about the beauty and color design of butterflies. Monkey loves the idea and they set off to the meadow in search of the Butterfly. Once they arrive, they meet a magnificent butterfly who just came out of his chrysalis. They watch him move and play a game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, monkey is deeply involved in a painting as Parrot poses... raising his thumb and then returning to draw... finally he finishes and reveals a painting of… his thumb.

Monkey is telling the kids a legend about "The laughing tree" that can only be found in a night of a full moon, when the owl hoots 3 times, a wolf howls twice and a monkey sneezes. All these conditions are fulfilled and they decide to fly to the forest in search of the magical tree. It is hard to find the tree in the darkness until Bat comes to their rescue. His quick movements inspire a game of MSMD and with his help they discover that "the laughing tree" is actually where Bat and is family hang laughing at the upside down world they are seeing. Back at the campsite, Monkey finishes the story he was telling the kids.

Monkey created a banana peels hat for national hat day but it fall apart, Monkey needs new inspiration. Mole appears and shares how Moose has incredible antlers on his head which can extend up to many feet. They venture off to the tundra to look for Moose. They find him with his antlers stuck in the bushes. Monkey helps free the moose and then invites him to a fun game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, Monkey reveals a hat that he made especially for parrot which is made of large branches and exotic flowers that covers his entire body...

Monkey is trying to decide what costume to wear to the jungle costume party... Monkey wants to dress up as something special no one has ever seen before… Mole then appears and tells them about how birds of paradise are known as being unique. When they arrive at the forest, they meet Bird of paradise. They learn about finding their unique look and grove, and Monkey invites Bird of paradise to play MSMD... Back at the campsite, Monkey decides to dress up as himself explaining that he himself is the most unique and special thing in the world!!!

We see Parrot packing a picnic basket Monkey wants to add things like a grand piano and a ladder. Mole appears and suggests taking a magnifying glass so they can explore nature and all of its small wonders. They fly to the meadow. When they arrive they spread blankets and spread out the food. Monkey turns to thank Parrot for the sandwich, when he looks back he discovers the food is gone leaving only a trail of crumbs. Using his magnifying glass Monkey follows the crumbs until he gets to Mouse. He wants to confront him but soon becomes his friend and invites him to play a game of MSMD!!! Back at the campsite, Parrot asks monkey where all the food is... monkey shows him a combination safe. But realizes he has forgotten the code...

Parrot is drinking his afternoon tea when suddenly everything begins to shake and there is a terrible racket of building sounds. He discovers Monkey building a bizarre looking extension to the tree house that soon enough falls apart... Mole appears and explains how the beaver is such an amazing builder... they decide to venture to the lake to learn from the beaver. Watching beaver work inspires a fun game of MSMD. Upon their return Monkey is excited to start building a tree house for Parrot but this might take a while since he is trying to work with heavy logs…

Monkey is sitting and looking up at the full moon when he hears a howl makes him jump into Parrots hammock and of course wakes him up. Mole explains that the howl is a way for the wolf to communicate with other members of its pack. Just then we hear a different howl which sounds very near. It is coming from a wolf cub. Monkey decides to bring the cub back to its pack in the tundra. When they arrive they reunite the cub with its mother, and as the two of them dances in celebration Monkey is inspired to play a fun game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, we hear a howl and then Monkey laughing, he explains that the wolf is actually telling funny jokes...

Parrot is trying to rest when deflating balloons whiz by and we see monkey trying unsuccessfully to inflate balloons. Mole appears and tells them of how the puffer fish knows inflates like a balloon. They decide to fly to the ocean. Under the ocean Monkey sees Puffer fish inflated but when Parrot looks at the fish it's deflated until finally they both see him and invite him to play MSMD. Back at the campsite, Parrot creates balloon animals, which Monkey accidentally explodes with his own thorny puffer fish balloon animal…

Parrot is couching Monkey, after some jumping jacks Parrots asks him to kick a punching bag. Monkey tries but keeps falling out of balance; each time he kicks he falls back… Mole appears and tells them of the donkey's famous precise kick. Monkey is enthused to learn his technique and off they go to the farm. When they meet him, Donkey tells Monkey that in order to find his balance he needs to be absolutely calm and to concentrate. Watching Donkey move inspires monkey to invite him to a fun game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, Monkey is so precise he hits the punching bag with his kick which in return bounces back and knocks Monkey down.

We hear Monkey playing a violin but completely off key. When Parrot asks, Monkey explains he just started to play but planning to give a concert tomorrow. Parrot suggests he should take some music lessons. Mole appears explaining how the cricket is world renowned for his musical abilities... They go to the meadow and hear the beautiful music of cricket who tells Monkey how he has been playing for years. Soon Cricket joins them in a fun game of MSMD. At the campsite Monkey tells Parrot he will not be giving a violin concert because he needs more practice, instead he will give a concert with a brand new instrument, the drums!

Monkey is sliding up and down on the Jungle Jim's new slide. He invites Parrot to come join him but apparently Parrot is afraid of sliding. Mole appears and tells them how the otters love sliding down to the water and they decide to fly to the lake to meet Otter... when they get there they watch how a first a bit stressed baby Otter learns how to swim. His courage and movements inspires a game of MSMD. It also inspires Parrot to try the new slide back at the campsite.

Monkey is giving a sportscaster-like monologue as he kicks coconuts thru his makeshift goal... Parrot suggests that monkey should make a goal net... Mole then appears and tells them about spider's renowned webbing. They venture to the meadow to find Spider and borrow some of her webbing. When they meet spider they are amazed by her webbing and invite her to a fun game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, monkey is about to kick a penalty goal with parrot as the goalie... Monkey kicks and parrot jumps up to stop it, and get stuck on the sticky net…

Parrot is writing a letter to his great uncle using a quill and ink from a bottle Monkey tips over when trying to show off his juggling skills. There is no more ink left. Mole appears and tells them that octopus uses ink to ward off predators. They fly to the ocean and try to scare the Octopus so he will spurt his ink. They only make the Octopus laugh but he agrees to share his ink with them and happily joins them in a fun game of MSMD. Back at the campsite, Parrot finds out there still no ink. It seems Monkey used it all to write all the things he likes about parrot...

Monkey is appreciating his leaves collection when a gust of wind blows the huge pile on Parrot’s hammock. Parrot suggests Monkey stores the leaf collection somewhere else, but monkey is unsure where...Mole appears and tells them about how chipmunks are known for collecting and storing away their food... Monkey decides to go and learn collecting and storing skills from the chipmunk...When meet Chipmunk in the forest, Monkey the secret to a a good storage place, and Chipmunks learns what it means to have a friend. When they return Monkey stores his leafs up on a tree, but once he touches the tree the entire collection drops from the canopy and covers monkey and parrot….

Monkey is trying to sculpt in the mud but he is not able to create mud that is not too soft or hard for sculpting. Mole appears and tells about the pig that is known for his great love for mud. They decide to visit him in the farm and learn some muddy tips. When they meet Pig he shows them how he creates perfect mud for sculpting. This gives Monkey an idea and he invites Pig to play MSMD. Back at the campsite, Monkey is finishing a mud sculpture, parrot is not sure what it is so Monkey happily tells him- it is Pig in the mud…
