The "Holy War," a battle fought between the Goddess Athena and the Underworld King Hades, has been taking place since the age of legends. This story takes place in the 18th century - far before the era of "Saint Seiya." It is a new story involving the Pegasus Saints, the Underworld King Hades, and the Goddess Athena! When Hades finishes his giant painting that covers the sky, "The Lost Canvas," it is said that all lives on Earth will be lost. Tenma, who became a Pegasus Saint, wishes to stop his best friend Alone, who was chosen to become a vessel for Hades. Look out for him as he heads for Hades' castle!

S01:E01 - Promise
An 18th-century orphan named Tenma meets Libra Dohko, who recruits him into the Saintly Warriors.
S01:E02 - The Awakening of Hades
Tenma trains as a saint and meets Sasha, Alone's younger sister; everything that Alone paints dies.
S01:E03 - The Holy War Begins
Dohko and Shion look for Hades' soldiers in Tenma's hometown while Tenma confronts Alone.
S01:E04 - The Prayer Wreaths
Sasha learns the fates of Tenma and Alone, but represses her grief to carry on her role as Athena.
S01:E05 - The Poison Rose
Minos, one of the strongest Specters, begins an assault on Sanctuary and encounters a rose garden.
S01:E06 - Floral Funeral Procession
Minos resists Albafica's "crimson zone" attack and proceeds toward the village.
S01:E07 - Golden Rain
Tenma and the others must find the Goldenrain tree to retrieve berries that can kill Specters.
S01:E09 - Giant Star
Aldebaran fights back the Specters attacking Sanctuary and Vennu Kagaho joins the conflict.
S01:E11 - Unreachable
Tenma returns, ready to fight Alone, but finds himself outmatched until the Pope arrives.
S01:E12 - Relentless Sacrifice
Aldebaran comes to the rescue when Pandora sends Bat Wimber and Dullhan Cube to assassinate Tenma.
S01:E13 - The Departure
The Pope orders Manigold to lock Tenma in a cell when the saint leaves to fight Alone himself.
S01:E14 - The Forest of Death
Alone focuses on creating the "Lost Canvas" and fully reawakens as Hades.
S01:E15 - If I Could Return to That Day
In the Forest of Death, Yuzuriha becomes separated from the group and finds her long-dead brother.
S01:E16 - Gods and Pawns
Manigold rescues Tenma and the others from Veronica's zombies and attacks Veronica head-on.
S01:E17 - Trash
Manigold locates the Twin Gods and battles Thanatos, the God of Death, along with Pope Seiji.
S01:E18 - I Only Want You to Live
Thanatos has the upper hand in battle with Pope Seiji; Manigold continues to recollect his past.
S01:E19 - Lonely Blade
The Vision Icelus steals Sisyphus' soul, leading El Cid in a pursuit to take it back.
S01:E20 - Prison of Dreams
As he draws near to Hades, Tenma discovers his old village, restored to the way it used to be.
S01:E21 - Beyond the Dream
El Cid battles Icelus for Sisyphus' soul; Tenma escapes from his dream prison and fights Morpheus.
S01:E22 - The Path of Righteousness
Athena arrives to aid in battle; the saints successfully remove Oneiros from the dream world.
S01:E23 - Excalibur
Upon entering Sisyphus' dream, Athena learns of his guilt over taking her away from her old life.
S01:E24 - Hour of the Final Battle
The saints prepare to assault Hades' stronghold; Hakurei embarks upon a solo mission to stop Hypnos.
S01:E25 - The Many, Many Years
Hakurei goes into Hades castle alone, protected by a blade from the last Athena. He tears apart the oppossing Specters until he reaches the center of the barrier that protects Hades Castle. When he attempts to destroy it with his sword, Hypnos appears. Will Hakurei be able to defeat the foe he has hated since the last Holy War?
S01:E26 - Be Yourself
Hades stops Hakurei before he can destroy the barrier; Tenma and Dohko fight a losing battle.
