Reilly, an able-bodied drunk is hit by a car and finds himself a quadriplegic drunk. The guilt-ridden driver, wealthy Mort Bromberg, buys Reilly the mansion next to his own, much to the horror of Mort's social climbing wife, Liz.
S01:E02 - Bad Manors
Perpetually low on cash, Reilly and the gang make several fairly honest attempts at finding jobs in the "real world" with no success. Lightbulb! Rent out the luxurious Maimed Manor for weddings, parties etc.
S01:E03 - 1-800-GIMP
In her desperate attempts to climb the social ladder, pretentious Liz Bromberg holds a Telethon to raise money for "unfortunate gimps".
S01:E04 - The Fraud Quad
A suave visitor, Eduardo enters their severed lives: he's a Latin Love Quad, Man of the World, Chef, Healer, Environmentalist, and so much more.
S01:E05 - Christmas Holidaze
Reilly's battle with sobriety is challenged over the Christmas holidays, especially with Griz constantly tempting him.
S01:E06 - Life Wheel 3000
The Handi-Capable Home Show is back in town, with hi-tech gadgets for every disability. Lucky Reilly ends up with the Life Wheel 3000, - "the wheelchair for tomorrow's cripple, today" - with every bell and whistle imaginable.
S01:E07 - Gonad's Faust
Reilly, always proud of his sexual prowess, suddenly finds himself unable to perform.
S01:E08 - Monkey in the Middle
Frustrated by his physical limitations, Reilly buys a trained monkey to be his new hands and feet.
S01:E09 - The Son's Also Blinded
Thanks to a TV News story on the Quads, ten-year-old runaway Grover appears at the door: he's Fontaine's son. As Fontaine and Grover bond, Franny's biological clock starts ticking, much to Reilly's horror.
S01:E10 - Guinea Pigs
Deborah Golden, doing her Doctorate in Medical research, needs volunteers for medical experiments: Reilly, Lefty, Fontaine, Blazer and Griz are enlisted.
S01:E11 - The Unkindest Cut
Reilly and co. rent out a room to an attractive thalidomide, Randy - who peeping Blazer discovers is really a man. Meanwhile, Reilly has been swept up in a local election, running for City Council against Liz Bromberg.
S01:E12 - Fatal Distraction
Spalding wants to win the heart of his old flame Bruce, and blackmails Reilly into posing as his boyfriend. At the same time Griz's rough n' tumble alcoholic sister is in town, determined to turn Spalding straight!
S01:E13 - Spalding in the Family Way
Spalding's parents are visiting from Australia, throwing Spalding into a tizzy. He's never gotten along with his dad and he's never told them he's gay! Griz has his own problems; the Health Inspector is coming to check out his bar.
