S01:E01 - Chapter 1
Lera arrives in Prypyat, but her passport is stolen shortly after getting off the bus. Ihor, with his influence in the army, manages to help her retrieve her belongings. Ihor sets Lera up with his friends, Sveta and Anton. On various occasions, Ihor attempts to win Lera's heart, but to no avail. In a chance meeting, Lera falls in love at first sight with Vitas, a nuclear engineer.
S01:E02 - Chapter 2
Vitas returns to win back Lera's heart. The nuclear plant explodes at Chernobyl, leaving the surrounding area in disarray. Vitas rushes down to the site, but it's too late for his friend Anton. Filled with grief, Sveta perishes, leaving behind a baby girl. With the help of her parents, Lera takes on the baby, Dasha. Unexpectedly, Ihor plots the perfect plan to keep Vitas and Lera apart.
S01:E03 - Chapter 3
Thirty years after the disaster at Chernobyl, Lera is leading a normal life. She is asked to participate in a telethon for survivors and tell her story. Quite coincidentally, Ihor walks back into her life just a day before, hoping to win her over once again. Vitas finds out about the telethon, and that his beloved Lera is alive. However, Ihor schemes his way between the two once again.
S01:E04 - Chapter 4
Vitas Jr. is in critical condition, while Ihor perishes at the hand of his own jealousy. With all other options out of the question, the only hope for Vitas Jr. is an organ transplant from his father. Although thirty years of illusion stood in their way, Lera and Vitas finally set the story straight.
