Neil Byrne, doing two life sentences for the horrific murders of his wife infant daughter, escapes from an express train as it thunders across the border from England into Scotland
S01:E02 - Episode 2
The nation-wide hunt for Byrne steps up. Byrne narrowly escapes capture in a chase on foot, when he is apprehended outside a primary school, watching the young children playing.
S01:E03 - Episode 3
Shaken by the murder of Edith Ramsay, Byrne breaks into a flat in Old Trafford, whose owner is abroad, connecting up gas and electricity.
S01:E04 - Episode 4
Byrne escapes Ericson and police manhunt and returns to his flat. He now knows that Ericson is bent.
