A British competition series that tasks dozens of gifted landscape artists across the UK with painting some of the country’s most spectacular scenery.
Season 3
S03:E01 - Knaresborough Castle Bowling Green
In this first heat 8 new artists are charged with painting Knaresborough Castle in Yorkshire. It’s a quintessential English scene complete with a bowling green and even bowlers.
S03:E02 - South Gare Steelworks 2
In the second heat 8 new artists are on the South Gare in Teesside tackling an industrial landscape in a bid to impress judges Tai Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano.
S03:E03 - Rhossili Beach 3
In this third heat 8 new artists are perched up high on Wale’s Gower Peninsula, tasked with painting the view ofthe famous Rhossili Bay.
S03:E04 - Knaresborough Viaduct
In this fourth heat 8 new artists are in North Yorkshire overlooking Knaresborough’s Victorian viaduct, using everything from ink pens to a Russian material called ‘sauce’.
S03:E05 - Paddy’s Hole
In this fifth heat at Paddy’s Hole the powerful North Sea winds force our 8 new artists indoors.
S03:E06 - Worm’s Head
In the Gower Peninsular, before our 8 new artists can even begin painting the view of Worm’s Head, they must battle against the lashing rain just to get a glimpse of it.
S03:E07 - Semi-FinalCastle Farm Lavender Farm
Our 7 artists –6 semi-finalists and the winner of the Wildcard competition –have a glorious view across the Kentish lavender fields.
S03:E08 - FinalWinkworth Arboretum
We follow our finalists across the British Isles as they tackle a special two-week commission, before regrouping in the rolling Surrey hills for their last 4 hour challenge.
S03:E09 - Winner’s Film
We follow Tom Voyce as he claims his prize, traveling to Jamaica to begin his £10,000 commission to paint the stunning view from Firefly – the former home of legendary Noel Coward.
