Season 1
S01:E01 - Fizzing Volcano
Experiments include creating electricity by making a lemon battery to turn on a clock, surface tension of liquids, reaction with household chemicals to produce a "fizzing volcano."
S01:E02 - Soap Boat
Investigate the surface tension reducing properties of soap, principles of a steam engine, different densities of liquids, homemade invisible ink also known as "magic ink."
S01:E03 - Crushing Can
Let's investigate a simple electromagnet monopole motor, look at the function of ammonium nitrate by making our own instant cold pack and explore air pressure.
S01:E04 - Dancing Raisins
Experience the effect of carbon dioxide on density is explored by making raisins "dance." With our homemade musical straws, we look at sound vibrations and frequency.
S01:E05 - Egg in a Bottle
Explore the impact of carbon dioxide and oxygen, spin a bucket of water round and round and learn about Inertia, see the effects between high and low air pressure!
S01:E06 - Alka Seltzer Rocket
Our experiment involves pressure caused by carbon dioxide build up. Explore the density of metal and water by making floating steel balls.
S01:E07 - Elephant Toothpaste
This experiment we grow our own crystals by using baking soda crystals and water. We see how static electricity works utilizing a Van Der Graaf generator and making saucers fly!
