Wang attended a conference held by The Frontier of Science. Later, he found a series of mysterious numbers appeared on his pictures.

Wang found a countdown in the middle of his sight. He went to Shen for answers.

Wang shut down his experiment and the countdown disappeared. He visited Ye Wenjie in order to find a spot that could observe the flicker of universe.

Wang witnessed the universe flicker for him. With the encouragements from Shi and his family, he decided to fight against whoever's out there manipulating all this.

Sha presented the theory that the flicker could be fake. Wang and Shi looked through Ye's files and were acknowledged of her tragic past.

Wang decided to do the undercover job. He was presented a game which was claimed to show the world of a highly-advanced alien civilization.

The civilization demolished in the game. Wang is overwhelmed by how real the game feels, yet they can't find any information on the game developer.

Hu Xiaoxi who was Pan's messenger turned himself in. Wang and Shi went to Shen's place for the truth.

Shi Qiang and Wang Miao embark on a mission to find Shen Yufei and Ye Wenjie. The Earth Three-body Organization is divided, hindering communication with the "Lord."

Ye Wenjie was moved by Lei Zhicheng's respect and trust. With Yang Weining's help, she discovered that Red Coast was searching for aliens.

Wang Miao and Shi Qiang share their information but Shi Qiang doubts it's all a coincidence. Ye Wenjie waits for ETO leader Evans at the Red Coast Base.

Wei Cheng's addiction to Three-Body computing led him to marry Shen Yufei. Wang Miao enters the game and realizes the problem's unsolvability, causing Shen Yufei's despair.
