S01:E01 - Smile, Darn Ya, Smile / Lady Play Your Mandolin / A Great Big Bunch of You
Foxy dreams he is the Toonerville Trolley engineer, urging his passengers to smile, darn ya, smile. / The jazz music is so hot and infectious that all distinctions are blurred as pertain to morality and sobriety. Foxy gets ticked at his horse for wanting to prance around on two legs and whoop it up with everyone else. Foxy hits him in the head so hard that he stumbles and spontaneously combusts. Meanwhile, Foxy and his girlfriend are singing on stage. / Junkyard jive time where discarded store mannequins come to life to sing and dance.
S01:E02 - The Queen Was in the Parlor / You're Too Careless With Your Kisses / Young and Healthy
A Merrie Melodies cartoon, when a pig king gets back to his castle and finds his wife isn't waiting on him he seeks entertainment from Goopy Geer. / A domestic comedy about a comic drunkard husband and his plucky wife who has to go out and bring home the bacon when he comes home sloshed at the crack of dawn. / In 18th-century France, fat King Louis is bored to tears with the doddering old fogies who comprise his court. He discovers children outside playing and decides to join them.
S01:E03 - I Wish I Had Wings / Moonlight for Two / Goopy Geer
A baby Hen sees there is a lot of food on the other side of the fence. In order to get to it he has to scare away a scarecrow by using a kerosene lamp and burning its stuffing. / Goopy, his girlfriend, and a Stove are dancing to music when the villain comes to the party. The Stove saves Goopy and his girlfriend by burning the villain and breathing fire on him. / In a crowded nightclub everyone comes to see Goopy Gear the star piano-playing dog. Goopy plays a few sets of songs, and the crowd dances along.
S01:E04 - The Organ Grinder / Sittin' on a Backyard Fence / Pettin' in the Park
An Italian man and his pet monkey walk up and down the streets singing and playing instruments for all the people they pass. / A midnight romance progresses smoothly until an old alley cat causes trouble. / In a city park, springtime brings out romantic feelings in a policeman and prompts a water race among the birds.
S01:E05 - Why Do I Dream These Dreams? / A Cartoonist's Nightmare / Hollywood Capers
A cartoon fantasy based on the legend of Rip Van Winkle and his long, long nap. / A cartoonist falls asleep and gets pulled into the cartoon world where all the world's evil villains wait for him. / Beans is a Hollywood hopeful and sneaks into a big studio. He really gets into a mess when he accidentally starts the Frankenstein robot who goes on a rampage. It's up to him to fix his problems and get his shot in Hollywood.
S01:E06 - The Girl at the Ironing Board / The Miller's Daughter / Honeymoon Hotel
An underwear comes to life cartoon. In the laundry area clothing comes to life and they sing songs, dance and play. / When a mischievous cat breaks a porcelain statuette of the "Miller's Daughter," a boy statue struggles to repair her and rescue her from the attic. / We're invited to go to Bugtown as the little bugs sing song verses of "Honeymoon Hotel". The focus is on a bug couple who get married and head off to Honeymoon Hotel where their love-making seems to be interrupted by everyone.
S01:E07 - Pop Goes Your Heart / Those Were Wonderful Days / Shake Your Powder Puff
When winter turns to spring, all the animals teach their young how to survive. / A musical set in the 1890s, starring a sneering villain, a beautiful heroine and a handsome hero. / At a wacky animal vaudeville theater, crazy things happen backstage, onstage and in the audience.
S01:E08 - Mr. & Mrs. Is the Name / I Love to Singa / Porky of the Northwoods
A little boy and girl mermaid are playing together at a shipwreck site. The girl is kidnapped by an octopus so the little boy mermaid goes to rescue her. / Professor Fritz Owl, music instructor, hangs his prejudices out in front of his tree on a sign: "teacher of voice, piano & violin, BUT - NO JAZZ!" His youngest child starts singing jazz and the Owl throws him out of the house. Momma Owl calls the police to look for her son after he leaves. The baby Owl stumbles upon a radio station holding an amateur contest which he enters. Once his parents hear him on the radio Fritz Owl changes his mind. / When a villainous trapper captures Porky's animal friends in his traps, Porky releases the animals and they vanquish their foe.
S01:E09 - The Country Boy / Flowers for Madame / Billboard Frolics
A cute bunny rabbit film where Peter Rabbit is constantly causing trouble at the local farm with his youthful antics. / An ugly, ostricized cactus saves the day when a fire engulfs Flower Town. / Billboard icons and advertisements characters come to life.
S01:E10 - I Haven't Got a Hat / Little Dutch Plate / The Country Mouse
The occasion is a school musical with many acts in which each of them end with a problem. The biggest one being when Beans pulls a gag on Oliver and embarrasses him in front of the rest of the students. Oliver then squirts Beans with green fountain pen ink. Beans falls back on a bouncing bench that hurls both Beans and a can of red paint into the schoolroom. Finally the two grin sheepishly and shake hands in front of the kids. / The Dutch boy, a salt shaker, is in love with the little Dutch girl on the plate. The villain is a vinegar bottle, Billy Bletcher, who tells the Dutch girl that he will shut down her mill if she doesn't marry him. The villian kidnaps the Dutch girl and the Dutch boy has to rescue her. In the fight to rescue the Girl the villain vinegar bottle gets knocked over and when he tries to put his lid back on he grabs a different one on accident. His new head is much nicer than his old one so the Dutch girl goes off with him leaving her rescuer behind. / Elmer the country mouse boasts of being "The strongest in the County." He believes in his strength so much that he enters a fighting competition.
S01:E11 - My Green Fedora / The Lady in Red / The Merry Old Soul
A boy rabbit tries to stop his little brother, Elmer, from crying but nothing seems to work. The boy rabbit gets tired of listening to it and leaves the house leaving the baby alone. The baby is kidnapped by a weasel so the big brother goes to rescue him, which he does. / In a closed Mexican cafe, the cockroaches make themselves at home. Some use food for sport. Senorita Cockroach, "The Lady In Red" is captured by a parrot who escapes his cage. A heroic roach pursues the parrot and gets a chance to set its tail feathers aflame when it stops by the stove. The parrot flies off and the roaches live happily ever after. / Old King Cole marries the Woman in the Shoe. She has lots of kids and he helps with bathing them and putting them to bed. Two naughty kids, Nip and Tuck, wake all the babies up and take them out of their cribs. All the babies are crying as well as Cole.
S01:E12- The Phantom Ship / Bingo Crosbyana / Let It Be Me
Beans and his stowaway nephews, Ham and Ex, search for a lost treasure on a haunted ship in the frozen North. / A charactization of Bing Crosby as a fly, who comes down to woo all the other insects with his singing talent, and aerial skills. / All the hens in the countryside love the singer Mr. Bingo, the peacock. Mr. Bingo steals Emily away from her boyfriend and takes her to a club. At the club he has her kicked out because he likes the entertainer better. Emily's real boyfriend beats up Mr. Bingo and then takes Emily home.
S01:E13 - The Cat Came Back / Porky the Rainmaker / The Fire Alarm
A momma mouse warns her children to beware of cats, while a momma cat trains her her kittens to attack all mice. However, one mouse and one kitten sneak out, meet, and become friends. / Farmer Pig sent his son Porky into town to buy some feed, but a traveling salesman sold Porky a box of "weather pills" instead. / Ham and Ex get up to a lot of mischief when left alone in their Uncle's firehouse.
S01:E14 - Baby Bottleneck / Kitty Kornered / Book Revue
A post-war baby-boom era overworks the stork, and faulty deliveries are made. Daffy Duck and Porky Pig are then hired as assistants but this leads to more problems than good. / Porky gets thrown out of his own house at night by his cats. When Porky gets back inside he finds all the cats and threatens them with his dog. Most of the cats run away until Sylvester comes up with a plan to keep the house for themselves. All the cats dress up like martians and wake Porky from a deep sleep only to scare him enough that he runs outside and the house is theirs again. / Books in a bookshop come to life and have a jam session.
S01:E15 - The Blow-Out / I Wanna Play House / Fish Tales
Porky figures out that by picking up people's stuff he can get enough change to buy ice-cream sodas. A bomber leaves a time-bomb in and Porky goes at lengths to return it to him without knowing its a bomb. / Two mischievous little bears, one brown and one black, play hide and seek. The black bear finds a gypsy wagon to hide in. Inside, he discovers food and drink and soon becomes drunk on cider. He puts on a hat and croons to himself in the mirror "I Gotta Sing 'Cause I'm Gay." The brown bear finds his playmate, but the wagon breaks loose and starts to roll along a cliffside road. The wagon crashes near their dad, who punishes the lads accordingly. / While fishing out in the open sea, Porky bites into a donut which turns out to be bait from a huge fish. The huge fish grabs Porky and takes him home to eat.
S01:E16 - I'd Love to Take Orders From You / Toytown Hall / Boulevadier From the Bronx
A cute li'l tyke of a scarecrow wants to be just like his dad and scare all the crows away. He goes out to the cornfield without his father and is bullied by a crow until his father comes to his rescue. The little scarecrow thinks he scared the crow away and says he wasn't scared when he really was. His father teaches him a lesson by scaring him with a fake crow shadow. / A young boy who was listening to the radio before being interrupted to go to bed has a dream full of toys mimicking radio stars. / The lead pitcher of one baseball team falls for the girl of the other team's leader. Both star players vie for the affection of the girl in the game against each other.
S01:E17- When I Yoo Hoo / Don't Look Now / Plane Dippy
Lines are dawn in a country town between two feuding families of barn animals, the Weavers and the Matthews. The sheriff of the town says the feud will be ended by a rooster fight in which the losers will leave the town. / Cupid and the little Devil vie for emotional control over a bear couple throwing them back and forth between love and hate. / Air Corpsman Porky is caught in a voice-controlled airplane responding to commands given to a dog by children near the microphone.
S01:E18 - Porky's Pet / The Village Smithy / Porky's Railroad
Porky and his pet ostrich, Lulu, learn that pets aren't allowed on a train, and Porky must sneak her aboard. / Assistant Porky attempts to help his boss shoe a horse, but the animal gallops away with the blacksmith in tow. / Porky and his broken-down old train, Toots, are challenged to a race by the engineer of a new streamlined train that is to replace them.
S01:E19 - Porky's Poultry Plant / Alpine Antics / Page Miss Glory
When a hawk attacks Porky's poultry, Porky leaps into his plane to fight the pesky bird. / Beans enters a ski race and struggles against a cheating bully. / A smalltown hotel bellhop awaits the arrival of a big time movie star. While waiting he has a dream about a fancy New York hotel.
S01:E20 - At Your Service Madame / Get Rich Quick Porky / Porky the Wrestler
An all-pig picture about Mrs. Hamlock who inherits a massive fortune. She becomes targetted by a swindling shyster, W.C. Fields, who tries to seduce Mrs. Hamlock for her fortune. / Porky gets conned into buying land that has been dressed up to look like it's full of oil. The truth being that it doesn't contain anything, Porky gets so angry that he wants to sell it back, but just before he gives it back his buddy strikes real oil! / Mistaken for a fighter, Porky is forced to enter the ring to wrestle his much larger opponent.
