Season 1
S01:E01 - The Good, the Bad & the Bogus
Capt. Harris unknowingly recruits a gang of crooks into the Academy, to become eventual replacements for Mahoney and his gang. The crooks, posing as patrolmen, use the Academy weaponry to carry out their crimes, and the grounds on which to store their stolen loot.
S01:E02 - Puttin' on the Dogs
Mahoney and crew are assigned to guard the queen and her royal jewels during her upcoming visit to the city. Capt. Harris is sure the notorious Cat Burglar will strike, and gives the guys a half-dozen bumbling K-9 dogs to help out, secretly hoping they'll fail.
S01:E03 - Phantom of the Precinct
The city is plagued by a rash of robberies by a shrouded, ghostly figure, the mere sight of whom gets policemen to quit the force. Harris assigns the Grads to the case, hoping they'll also be frightened into early retirement, en masse. The story culminates as the ghost is revealed to be an embittered magician with a criminal past and hate for all cops.
S01:E04 - Cops & Robots
Capt. Harris is excited about some new robot policemen the Professor has invented. Harris hopes he can replace Mahoney and his crew with these cyborg cops, which are sent to the estate of a performer to guard his mansion against thieves. Kingpin, the master thief, steals the controls and reprograms the robots to plunder, rather than protect. It's up to the Academy Grads to overcome the physically superior robots.
S01:E05 - Police Academy Blues
The Academy crew is in London to attend a meeting of crime enforcement officers from around the world. And also to demonstrate the Professor's latest invention — his Super Car — a vehicle that can transform from a car, to a boat, to a plane. It's swiped by the notorious London Bridge Gang, who use it to try to steal the royal scepter from the Tower of London.
S01:E06 - A Blue Knight at the Opera
The Academy Grads are assigned to the opera house to act as bodyguards for the diva, whose life has been threatened. It turns out to be the crooked opera manager, who's out to ruin the season. Before the evening is over, the Grads have taken over as replacements in a pratfall performance of an opera.
S01:E07 - Worth Her Weight in Gold
Following up a clue, Hightower and Hooks go undercover as tag team wrestlers and discover that Phoenix Amazona, the strongest woman in the world, is behind a rash of incredible gold robberies. She's been taking the stolen gold to her gym where her cohorts reshape it, paint it black and smuggle it to the highest bidder disguised as barbell and nautilus weights. But things get complicated when Sweetchuck falls in love with Amazona who is using him to help pull off her biggest heist yet: a million-dollar solid-gold statue being sold at a fancy private auction.
S01:E08 - For Whom the Wedding Bells Toll
The Grads are sent as undercover security officers to protect a wealthy young society heiress from being kidnapped at her own wedding. They disguise Zed in a bridal gown and heavy veil as a decoy in case the kidnappers strike. But when they do, they grab the real bride instead. Now the cops have to stall the ceremony and keep the guests from finding out what's happened while they try to recover the kidnapped bride.
S01:E09 - Westward Ho Hooks
Suffering from an inferiority complex, Hooks decides to prove her mettle by answering an ad in the paper for sheriff of a small town in Texas. But Sheriff Hooks finds herself in real trouble when she runs up against the '80s version of the Dalton Gang, who have the town under their thumb and are robbing freight trains on horseback. Fortunately, our cops come to Hooks' rescue and thwart the gang before they can pull off the ultimate "new age" stagecoach robbery — holding up armored trucks in downtown Dallas.
S01:E10 - My Mummy Lies Over the Ocean
Capt. Harris sends the Grads to accompany a priceless ancient mummy aboard a ship on its way to the Cairo Museum. While in mid-ocean, the mummy himself appears, frightening many of the passengers and crew to abandon ship. Now it's up to the Grads to track down the mystery. They discover the "mummy" is actually a master thief in disguise who plans to steal the real mummy. Now the cops put on frightening masks and skeleton outfits to scare the bad guy into submission.
S01:E11 - Numbskull's Revenge
Captain Harris "accidentally" captures Numbskull, a powerful criminal with weapons that attach to his helmet. Even though it was by a fluke that Harris made the arrest, he takes all the credit, bragging about his exploits on the news, unaware that Numbskull has just broken out of jail. With the TV cameras rolling, a very frightened Harris is forced to claim he will recapture Numbskull. When Numbskull gets wind of the claim, he announces his biggest crime ever — he's going to rob the U.S. Mint and dares Harris to stop him. Can Mahoney and our Academy Grads save Harris' neck from Numbskull and his weapons?
S01:E12 - Proctor, Call a Doctor!
When Lt. Proctor's klutziness causes Capt. Harris to break his leg, Commandant Lassard naively puts Proctor in charge of the Grads. His ineptness causes a number of car crashes, jail breaks, and ultimately, the kidnapping of the mayor by Kingpin and his cronies. The Grads have to lock Proctor in a cell while they go off to rescue the mayor, who's being held in an amusement park. There's wild chases on roller coasters and through funhouses before their mission's accomplished.
S01:E13 - Little Zed & Big Bertha
When our cops try to thwart a band of highway robbers driving stunt cars, Zed discovers that the leader is his Aunt Bertha and two cousins, Ed and Ned. While trying to convince his family to go straight, Zed gets conked on the head, forgets he's a cop, and rejoins the gang. Now our cops must rescue their buddy — but they have their work cut out, since Bertha and her boys are incredible stunt drivers. Now it's up to Tackleberry to teach our cops how to stunt drive to stop the gang before they steal a valuable shipment aboard a jet liner.
S01:E14 - Curses on You!
When Sweetchuck and Zed arrest a phony gypsy fortune teller named Madame Zelda, she puts a curse on Sweetchuck. Pretty soon the other Grads start falling down stairs and hurting themselves. Mahoney gives Sweetchuck a phony good luck charm to ward off the curse, and it seems to be working. Even crooks start turning themselves in when Sweetchuck is around, and he begins to think he's invincible. There's a final confrontation with Mdm. Zelda, which the Grads eventually win.
S01:E15 - Lights, Action, Coppers!
When House, assigned guard duty at a studio lot, thwarts a burglary attempt, he gets discovered by a director and offered a movie role. What House doesn't realize is the director is a phony and is using House's "acting talents" to help him steal the fifty-foot King Kong ape, which the villain plans to use to commit a series of incredible city-wide crimes. It's up to our cops to stop the giant ape, and House gets to be a real life hero, when he saves "Fay Raye" Hooks from the clutches of the huge monster.
S01:E16 - Camp Academy
Lassard's wish has finally come true — a summer camp for disadvantaged inner city kids. Harris hates this idea and assigns the Academy Grads to act as counselors, hoping the entire program will fail. One of the kids steals the camp bus and wrecks it, but Mahoney saves his life, and the kid is rehabilitated. Using the camping techniques the Grads taught them, the kids join forces to help capture a notorious car thief.
S01:E17 - The Tell Tale Tooth
Hightower's got a toothache, but he's deathly afraid of dentists. After Hightower pulls down the precinct wall trying to remove the tooth himself, Zed discovers that Mystopholes, the hypnotist, is giving a show tonight. Hoping the hypnotist can remove Hightower's fear of dentists with the power of suggestion, our cops take a reluctant Hightower to the show. What they don't know is that Mysto is a master criminal who uses his hypnotic victims to pull off crimes for him. His latest crime scheme is to steal the Cyclops diamond, which will give him enormous hypnotic power. And Hightower is just the one he needs to pull it off.
S01:E18 - Mr. Sleaze Versus Lockjaw
Mr. Sleaze and his goons are beaten out of an armored car hold-up by Lockjaw and his gang, and Sleaze vows revenge. He tips off Lockjaw's hideout. When the cops come to make the bust, Lockjaw sees Callahan and falls instantly in love! Using his hydraulic jaws, Lockjaw chews his way out of jail, then starts breaking into jewelry stores and furriers, sending the stolen loot to Callahan. Learning this, Mr. Sleaze kidnaps Callahan, using her as bait to trap Lockjaw. There's a face-to-face confrontation between the two villains, but the real winners are the Grads, who haul them both off to jail.
S01:E19 - Spaced Out Space Cadets
Captain Harris is particularly peeved with Mahoney and his cops and is more determined than ever to get rid of them. An article in the newspaper gives him the answer. The Space Center is looking for nine good cops to go on a nine-month space flight aboard an experimental police patrol shuttle. Determined to launch Mahoney and his boys into orbit, Harris reprograms their computer files, making our Grads seem like the perfect candidates. Unfortunately, a last-minute mishap has Harris and Proctor trapped aboard the shuttle with our cops. And if this nightmare isn't bad enough for Harris, spies who have stolen a secret computer code bring the shuttle down in the Everglades and steal it. Now it's up to the cops to get it back before the spies sell it to the highest bidder.
S01:E20 - Sweetchuck's Brother
When Sweetchuck's kid brother Doug, a highly-rated FBI member, shows up on an assignment, Sweetchuck works at avoiding him. It seems Doug's presence makes Sweetchuck feel inferior and a failure. The Grads set up a phony arrest that will make Sweetchuck appear to be a hero — but it backfires, leaving him feeling even more inadequate. Finally, though, Sweetchuck makes a single-handed capture of a spy, who's been using his toy store, and the toys in it, as a way of intercepting FBI secrets. Sweetchuck is a hero!
