S01:E01 - Columbus Day
An overprotective airport security guard named Walter (James Gandolfini) picks up the night shift to earn more money for his family. He decides to give his bored and restless housewife, Lily (Rosanna Arquette), a gun for her safety, unaware that this gun can be used as evidence against a terrorist. Meanwhile, Lily begins a lustful affair with a struggling writer who uses her as his muse.
S01:E02 - All the President's Women
In the second part of this anthology series, Bill Johnson (Randy Quaid) is the President of a swanky Texas Country club, who has a not-so-secret love affair with multiple women at the club. These women include the former President's daughter (Jennifer Tilly), the club's lawyer (Sean Young), his new secretary (Dina Spybey-Waters). As he tries to keep his wife (Daryl Hannah) in the dark, parts of the former President's gun are being mysteriously sent to all of the women.
S01:E03 - The Hole
A young man leads a tortured existence after apparently killing his lover. When he returns back to his small town, he befriends an angsty teenage girl who despises her abusive step-father. As the two becomes close, he worries history might repeat itself.
S01:E04 - The Shot
Harvey and his family move from Los Angeles to Virginia to escape the big city. However, their trip is derailed when they make a pit stop at a convenience store that gets robbed.
S01:E05 - Ricochet
The last case for retiring detective Van Guinness (Martin Sheen) involves the death of a Japanese businessman. Circumstantial evidence points to the man's cold-hearted second wife, but Van Guinness can't make a move until he finds the murder weapon.
S01:E06 - Father John
A priest's cynical nephew returns home for his uncle's funeral. But his hero worship turns to intense curiosity when he discovers a large sum of money and a gun among his uncle's possessions. Being the reporter he is, John takes a journey through his uncle's dark past trying to to piece together what happened.
