A sleepy passenger on a bus witnesses a man in a second-story apartment strangling a woman. When a police investigation finds nothing, the man hires Peter Gunn to find the killer.
S03:E02 - Mask of Murder
Peter Gunn is called by a man who tells him that he is going to be murdered. As Gunn arrives, there is a gunshot and he and the man's wife find her husband dead, by suicide.
S03:E03 - The Maître D'
A gangster blows up his rival and a restaurant. The restaurant's owner helps Edie open her own supper club, and Peter Gunn teams up with him to bring the mobster to justice.
S03:E04 - The Candidate
A dying millionaire hires Peter Gunn to deliver a large donation to an oddball candidate for governor. However, the candidate cannot hold onto the donations he already has.
S03:E05 - The Judgement
A prisoner is brought to court for sentencing. Having obtained a gun, he kills the judge before being killed himself. Peter Gunn and Jacoby are assigned to investigate the case.
S03:E06 - The Death Frame
Fearing he will be next in a string of murders, a theft-gang boss tries to hire Peter Gunn to find out who is killing off his men. Gunn turns him down, but is framed for murder.

A race horse owner hires Gunn to find out who murdered his longtime trainer. The main suspect, a horse-race fixer, wants to hire Gunn as well, to prove he didn't do it.

When an ex-racketeer is murdered, his brother asks Peter Gunn to protect him. Gunn arrives too late, but before dying, the man identifies a deported mobster as the killer.

A convicted man being escorted to prison via train is freed by a confederate. Fearing he will kill her for turning him in the man's wife hires Peter Gunn to recapture her husband.

A young singing sensation is in town performing at a nightclub. His manager hires Peter Gunn to deal with a blackmailer who knows about the youthful indiscretions of his client.

Peter Gunn is asked by a fellow private eye to find out who killed his partner. The victim had been investigating an unsolved $500,000 bank truck heist for three years.

A boy hires Peter Gunn to protect his father from men who beat him up. After Gunn starts to investigate, the boy denies the help. When the father is found, he denies having a son.

An eccentric employee hatches a plan to force the bank he works at to institute a pension plan. He steals all the cash in the vault and refuses to return it until they agree.

After one of three bank robbers in a $200,000 heist is captured, Lt. Jacoby and the station police are distracted by a visiting dignitary, allowing the prisoner to escape.

Sgt. Davis is accused of fatally shooting an unarmed derelict. Lt. Jacoby asks Peter Gunn to help investigate the case and clear Davis's name, who claims he has been framed.

A wealthy ex-showgirl has a son who asks Peter Gunn to look into his mother's new husband. The boy, who claims to have uncanny ESP, knows that his mother will be murdered.

The an old friend's wife asks Peter Gunn to find her husband who has disappeared and whom the police are looking for. He is the chief suspect in a murder.

A singer, who fifteen years before was found not guilty in the questionable shooting death of her gangster husband, hires Gunn to help with a blackmailer.
S03:E22 - The Deep End
A swimming instructor allows a female pupil to drown and hires Gunn to find out why. The man cannot understand exactly what happened and is about to be charged with manslaughter.
S03:E23 - Portrait in Leather
A boxer on the comeback trail has an assassination attempt made on his life. Peter Gunn becomes involved when a pickpocket friend of his seems to have found a clue to the plot.
S03:E24 - Come Dance With Me and Die
A cabby tells Peter Gunn about how he saved a woman from a beating and being forced into a car by two thugs. This leads to a search for a girl who is trying to get lost.

An immigrant's son is accused of killing a drug dealer. Peter Gunn looks into the case, but Lt. Jacoby feels the young man had a motive and the opportunity to commit the crime.

A ballet dancer hires Peter Gunn to find her old dancing partner who has recently broken out of a sanitarium. Before being committed, he had threatened her life.

A racketeer is beaten to death and a woman hires Peter Gunn to find out if her old flame was responsible. Lt. Jacoby knows the man to be a longtime out-patient manic-depressive.
S03:E28 - The Murder Bond
The biggest Racket Man in town is out on bail and blows up. Or did he? In order to get back the $100,000 he put up as security, a bail bondsman hires Peter Gunn to help.

A mystery woman is an admirer of Peter Gunn and she kills to prove it. The first kill occurs when a hood who swore revenge against Gunn is released from prison.
S03:E30 - Till Death Do Us Part
Peter Gunn goes to Acapulco, Mexico to look for a woman spotted down there recently by his friend. The woman is supposed to be dead and her husband is on death row for her murder.
S03:E31 - Last Resort
Gunn is hired by an agent to keep an eye on his client: an old-time star making a comeback movie. The actor may end up going back on the bottle if his nerves get the best of him.
S03:E32 - A Matter of Policy
About to leave Acapulco, Peter Gunn surprises an intruder in his hotel room and shoots him. Local police determine the man is a mob hitman from Gunn's hometown.
S03:E33 - A Bullet for the Boy
Still in Acapulco due to Lt. Jacoby's bad sunburn, Peter Gunn is asked by the police to help with the investigation of the attempted assassination of a U.S. diplomat's son.
S03:E34 - Death Is a Four Letter Word
One of Peter Gunn's associates tips him to a suicidal woman. Gunn ends up saving her life and then pursues the case out of curiosity. After saving her a second time, Gunn is shot.
S03:E35 - Deadly Intrusion
A golf pro is blamed for a hit-and-run death. He is not guilty, but has no verifiable alibi. Peter Gunn finds his mechanic is part of a chain connected to a gambler.
S03:E36 - Voodoo
A dying man arrives in town and hires Peter Gunn to find out why he and his farm are having trouble. Gunn travels to Haiti to find out if voodoo is the cause.

An insurance company hires Peter Gunn to determine the ownership of $500,000 worth of jewels, which have been stolen. They were found by the police in a murdered man's apartment.

Peter Gunn is hired by a billionaire to recover documents stolen by the man's girlfriend. After finding out that she has been strangled, he finds the billionaire's assistant dead.
