The success of the first Kinsey Report in 1948 marked a turning point for the sexual revolution. Never before had the sexual behavior of American Men been freely addressed in a scientific report. Up until then, only a certain elite embraced this lifestyle, but now the revolution was becoming a collective movement by society as a whole.
S01:E02 - Reinventing Love
At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, the sexual revolution took a more societal and political turn. It was no longer only a matter of changing consciences and morals, as witnessed by the rise of sex education and pornography, but also a time to pass new laws in favor of greater equality and less discrimination.
