If you had to disappear tomorrow with some of the world’s best-missing persons experts looking for you and the most cutting edge technology keeping tabs on your electronic footprint, could you just vanish? To find out, 14 ordinary Brits from a cross-section of British society become fugitives and go on the run. With just £450 in the bank, they must evade capture for 28 days. Hunting them down are some of the world’s best investigators selected from law enforcement, military intelligence, cyber analysis, online profiling, and human tracking. In charge of them is Brett Lovegrove, former Head of Counter-Terrorism for the City of London Police who led the City of London Police response to the 7/7 bombings and the foiled attacks two weeks later. HUNTED is a real manhunt, a game of cat-and-mouse, captured 24 hours a day over four weeks, with full access to both sides of the pursuit, in order to make the first ever factual-thriller on British television.

Season 2
S02:E01 - Episode 1
C4’s hit factual thriller returns as 10 British citizens turn fugitive and go on the run. Tracking them down is an elite team of 30 hunters, drawn from some of the world’s best investigators and led by former Scotland Yard detective, Chief Peter Bleksley.
This year, the stakes are high, if the fugitives can evade capture for 28 days they’ll win a share of £100,000. But they're up against a formidable force as the hunters are equipped with search dogs, drones and helicopters.
Fugitives Kirk Bowett and Jeremy Scaratt are amputee veterans, armed with a unique skillset and a willing army of contacts around the country. They waste no time in attempting a daring mission under the hunter’s noses. But will their luck last when the cyber team cracks the boys’ passwords exposing their network and a hot lead to their location?
With CCTV hits coming in thick and fast, and the fugitives' friends and family revealing vital clues, it seems the fugitives’ days on the run are numbered.
S02:E02 - Episode 2
It’s 10 days in, and the hunter's frustration is running high, following ex soldiers' Kirk and Jez's daring escape. Will the hunters’ fortunes change, as the boys turn to their support network again?
Chief Bleksley launches a key weapon in the fight against the fugitives - a mass media campaign turning the UK's citizens into their eyes and ears. Yorkshire girls Anna and Elizabeth are the first to fall prey to Hunter’s spies and panic rises as they realize just how hard it is to escape from a remote Scottish village. In the south of England old University friends Hamish and Mikaela risk everything as they struggle to keep a low profile.
S02:E03 - Episode 3
As the halfway mark approaches the pressure is on. Chief Peter Bleksley and his team have caught four fugitives but six still remain at large. Househusband Nick risks all reaching out to a friend for cash, putting the hunters close on his tail. Lolly, also short of a few quid, uses coded messages to get her cash but the hunters intercept her plan. And childhood friends Madu and Ayo, one cautious the other bold, find the experience is pushing their relationship to an explosive end. The Chief acts deploying tracker dogs and aerial drones to prevent any of the fugitives from winning a share of the £100,000 prize.
S02:E04 - Episode 4
5 fugitives down, 5 to go. Now the investigation takes an intensively psychological turn, as the hunters search for chinks in the fugitives' armour. Mind games begin and paranoia sets in, as the Yorkshire girls Anna and Elizabeth become increasingly spooked, and Ayo and Madu part company.
Believing Nick’s close knit family could be key to his downfall, the hunters place his wife under close scrutiny; the hunters can’t believe their luck when an intercepted message reveals a potential meet up. Will Nick finally get caught? The Hunters believe Ayo’s ego could be his downfall and attempt to rile him, taunting him for being absent on his daughter’s birthday. But even with Ayo taking the bait, can the hunters run him to ground on home turf?
S02:E05 - Episode 5
Life on the run is taking its toll on the 5 remaining fugitives who must remain undetected to win a share of the £100,000 prize. Missing home, the fugitives begin to seek solace in the familiar with grave consequences. All eyes are on Ayo following a trip home to see his family that leaves him cornered on home turf in Hackney. Yorkshire girls Anna and Elizabeth find themselves back in the Dales unaware the Hunters are one step behind them, while Nick risks a visit to his childhood haunts. It’s a race against time for the Hunters who have a hot lead on Madu who is hiding out with an old university friend in Swansea.
S02:E06 - Episode 6
The clock is ticking for the Hunters who have just 3 days to track down the four remaining fugitives. From pulling in potential informants, launching a focused social media campaign and scouring CCTV, Chief Bleksley and his team are leaving nothing to chance. Anna and Elizabeth are still on home turf relying on their fellow Yorkshiremen not to reveal their location when a photo from a member of the public provides a clue for HQ. A sighting of Nick on CCTV reveals to the Hunters they are just a day behind him, and Ayo’s future hangs in the balance when he gets into the car of a young couple who have seen his photo online. Whether any of them can escape the hunters’ grasp and claim a share of the £100,000 is anyone’s guess!
