One porch, one very long day, and one more reason to watch the 1995 comedy classic before it leaves Tubi.
Watch NowFriday came back to Tubi by popular demand, and apparently we all knew exactly what to do with that information. The 1995 comedy starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker has Craig and Smokey back on our screens, Deebo terrorizing the block again, and an entirely new round of viewers having the pleasure of watching Craig somehow get fired on his day off.
But here's the part we don't love: Friday is leaving Tubi soon. So if you've been meaning to rewatch it, quote along with it, or finally understand why people have been saying “Bye, Felicia” for three decades, now would be a very good time. We don't know when it'll circle back, and a comedy this endlessly quotable deserves at least one more afternoon on the porch.

The Cast
Ice Cube as Craig Jones
Ice Cube understands that when everybody around you is operating at a ten, sometimes the funniest possible response is simply looking at them. His Craig is the straight man at the center of the chaos, newly unemployed, and attempting to stay out of trouble while the neighborhood repeatedly refuses to cooperate. Cube's dry reactions give everyone else room to go huge, but Craig never disappears into the madness, giving Friday its perfectly deadpan center.
Chris Tucker as Smokey
Then there’s Smokey, a man who could turn getting a glass of water into a 10-minute story. Tucker plays him at full speed, bouncing between wild confidence, immediate panic, and the kind of logic that only makes sense if you stop asking questions. But Tucker also gives Smokey enough warmth that his friendship with Craig feels real underneath all the chaos, helping make Smokey one of Friday's most memorable characters.
Tom Lister Jr. as Deebo
You don't really need someone to explain who Deebo is when Lister Jr. walks into the frame. His size, stare, and completely unhurried confidence tell you everything before the bike chain even enters the conversation. Lister plays him so straight that the reactions he gets from everyone else become part of the comedy.
