Garcia does not need a dramatic monologue to tell you a look isn't working. Sometimes the expression handles it. Drawing on her fashion-editor perspective, Garcia brings a sharp eye for what feels modern, sophisticated, and actually relevant beyond the competition. Her critiques can be exacting, but that's precisely what makes her presence so valuable: she's judging whether a designer has made clothes or made fashion, and yes, there is apparently a difference.
Kors could turn a critique into an event all by itself. His judging combines serious design knowledge with wonderfully specific observations that somehow make you understand exactly what's wrong with an outfit even if you've never touched a sewing machine. Kors brings humor without losing the fashion authority behind it, making him the judge whose reactions you almost look forward to as much as the runway itself.
