Season 1 Episode 6 - Lucille Ball
Gail and Chris search for the spirit of the first lady of television. From the renowned haunted location of the Queen Mary ship, to the studios where I love Lucy' was first made, Gail and Chris experience many different emotions throughout this episode. Yet it is at the Hotel Del Coronado that Gail has her most astonishing experience of the whole series. It's a night that she'll never forget!
Season 1
S01:E01 - The Mob
Gail and Chris start their search for spirits of The Mob at the world famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. Reported as being home to the most malevolent ghost in America, Gail and Chris meet up with parapsychologist Barry Taff. Barry tells them of the time he investigated the club and saw a vision of 3 men dressed in 30's style attire, and the painful paranormal experience he had when down in the basement. Will Chris pick up on the violence and intimidation that occurred in this location all those years ago?The next stop on their journey is a yacht that was once owned by Al Capone. Many people have experienced unexplained activity aboard and Chris doesn't appear to be any different.The last location is Alcatraz. The world-renowned penitentiary housed some of the most violent criminals in America's history, and was home to Al Capone and the infamous Birdman. As Gail investigates, alone, in one area, an alleged conversation between Chris and a ghost could be the most fascinating EVP ever heard!
S01:E02 - Frank Sinatra
Las Vegas - the place to start the search for the spirit of Ol' Blue eyes. Chris spends the night in a hotel suite that was once Sinatra's favourite. There is lots of positive energy in the room but Chris is particularly unnerved when scratching is heard on the window pane 5 floors up! Next stop is Thunderbird lodge, a beautiful location on Lake Tahoe where Sinatra reportedly played cards back in his heyday. This place is allegedly very active with paranormal activity and, although Gail and Chris record a startling EVP, they don't feel like they have contacted Sinatra.Their journey concludes at the Cal-Neva, a hotel that Sinatra owned. This location has a colourful history and a sance here seems to entice a familiar face!
S01:E03 - Marilyn Monroe
Gail and Chris spend the night at the haunted Roosevelt hotel, where Marilyn lived for 2 years. There have been many reported sightings of Marilyn by staff and guests, but will Chris and Gail come across the Blonde Bombshell?A session of psychometry involving Marilyn's possessions induces high emotions in Chris.In their effort to communicate with Marilyn, Gail watches on as Chris holds a sance with a group of Marilyn fans. Contact is allegedly made, and a number of participants are shaken by what unfolds
S01:E04 - James Dean
He lived fast, and died young. Gail and Chris re-trace the fateful journey James Dean took on his last day. From the spot where he ate his breakfast that morning, to the place where he crashed and died, Gail and Chris stop at a number of locations and meet a variety of interesting characters. A tragic but fascinating journey, a highlight of this EP0is a mesmerising interview between Gail and Maila Nurmi - Cult horror actress Vampira', and friend of James Dean.
S01:E05 - Jim Morrison
LA were The Doors and The Doors were LA. Gail and Chris decide to find out whether the presence of Jim Morrison could still be felt in his old haunts of Los Angeles. They visit the hotel room where he lived for two years and meet up with Carla Baron, a world-renowned clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient. From here they move on to the house in LA where Jim lived with his girlfriend and which has remained the same since he died. Their final stop is the Whaley house, one of the most haunted places in America. This was one of the most eventful places for the whole of the Dead Famous crew
