Wu Xin: The Monster Killer 3

Against the backdrop of Chang’an by night, two shadowy figures are chasing each other on uniformly aligned rooftops.

Wu Xin saves Liu Xuanhu. The duo promptly return, but they find a dead Cui Yee. Wu Xin suspects evil spirit had caused Liu Chongxiao’s death.

A bookworm reveals how Yang Huaizhen was killed. Wu Xin promises he makes sure that He Jingming is to receives punishment he deserves.

Xuanhu wants to see Wu Xin tomorrow. He is to clarify each and every doubt that Wu Xin has. Xuanhu tells Wu Xin he does not have much time left as he has some incurable disease.

Qingluan is mystified as she finds out Wu Xin keeps going after demons because he wants to die. Qingluan keeps her promise and comes clean with Wu Xin about her secrets.

Qingluan asks Wu Xin why he wants to die. Wu Xin explains he has experienced trials and tribulations and losing loved ones, so being an immortal is just a burden.

Wu Xin and Shang Qingtian manage to save Xuanhu. While they are about to flee, they are besieged by female demons.

Wu Xin and Qingluan put on disguises and sneak into the palace to investigate. Wu Xin performs sorcery. The duo follow the direction of evil aura.

Wu Xin, Shang Qingtian and junior Taoist priest sneak into a secret chamber in Jia Meiren’s bedroom. Meanwhile, Wu Xin senses Qingluan’s distress signal.

The Lius have sent yet another letter to deliver tragic news about Second Aunt’s death due to illness. Wu Xin promptly shows up to bid farewell.

In the evening, the village is eerily quiet. Tree spirit brothers cannot move as they are restrained by magic formation.

Qingluan returns to Second Aunt’s place. Second Aunt’s maid Qiuying promptly greets her. She keeps sobbing and tells Qingluan

Wu Xin guesses Second Aunt could not be saved the first time she fell ill. Someone turned her into a puppet by inserting a cursed silver needle into her scalp.

While the sun is setting, “Wu Xin” is still performing sorcery. Qingluan and her younger brother stay indoors.

Liu Fuzhi angrily tells Qingluan she has no right to light oil lamps for her ancestors. Qingluan finally realizes her father can be so cruel.

Deep in the night, Wu Xin is the first to show up and sees Feiyuan and Third Aunt banging their heads against the wall.

Master Jinpeng tell Liu Fuzhi to open the secret passage to let Qingluan and her younger brother go down to get the treasure.

Mysterious sorcerer is actually Bai Liuli, who Wu Xin had met before. Rewind several years and a scruffy Wu Xin encounters Bai Liuli in a bamboo forest.

Bai Liuli ends his speech. Wu Xin then explains he had to seize a chance to escape when nobody was around because he was so brutally treated.

At a military base, Xuanhu seizes a chance to get close to a holder containing jade figurine. Xuanhu vomits blood and becomes mentally deranged when the holder is opened.

Bai Liuli introduces Wu Xin to Young Commander. He tells Young Commander Wu Xin knows how to overcome obstructive magic formation.

Qingluan opens her eyes and realizes she is tied up in a remote cave, and Xuanhu is standing in front of her. Wu Xin and Bai Liuli overcome obstructions.

Wu Xin rushes to save Qingluan and Xuanhu. Master Jinpeng takes Xuanhu hostage and jumps off a cliff. Xuanhu fatally plunges down the cliff.

While the fire is raging, Qingluan and Wu Xin learn of the situation and rush to the scene. Qingluan barges into ancestral hall and drags her father away.

Wu Xin and Xuanhu go outdoors to look for Old Commander, but there is no sign of him. Old Commander has actually returned to the Liu household.

Wu Xin confirms Liu Fuzhi is controlled by Old Commander. Wu Xin deliberately lets Liu Fuzhi see him and Xuanhu “turn against each other” and become confrontational.

Old Commander’s inky aura in fact leaves Qingluan’s body gradually and drifts towards Wu Xin. But Old Commander unexpectedly enters Wu Xin’s body.
