The contestants then have just one hour to cook a dish good enough to keep them in the competition.

They have just one hour to dazzle the judges with one plate of food that shows just what they can do.

Tonight, Chef John Torode cooks Singapore chilli crab, a dish with a pungent fiery chilli and black bean.

The competition is about to get serious as Knockout Week begins.

At the end of this week only the best six can become semi-finalists.

We are now down to the final group of eight extremely talented amateur cooks.

Tonight the six contestants head to East London for a catering challenge they will never forget.

The contestants must cook a menu that will push all of them to the very limits of their ability.
