The team learn of the heartbreaking story of Polish children escaping war-torn Europe, and the camp that existed outside the town of Pahiatua.

The team visit the Kaeo museum, which contains significant artefacts that are being hidden among confusing and messy exhibits.

This week the Heritage Rescue team visit Eketehuna museum, and whip its jumbled exhibits into a clear and concise showcase of the township's amazing history.

The team head to Waihi Museum, where they learn the story of the town's precious metal mines, which were once considered some of the most important mines in the world.

The team head to Auckland's North Shore, where they explore the Devonport Museum. They find that the museum displays its local stories without any flow or chronology.

The team continue to try and revamp the museum at Davenport. While the interior is being redesigned, Brigid explores the community.
