The Optimist

Learning to be a cowboy at a dude ranch, the Optimist gets lost in the desert, lassoed in the corral, and knocked out on the gun range, and has a shootout with the handsome Rival.

Sent to a heath farm, the Optimist finds the scary Matron runs it like a prison. Half-starved and battered, the Dancer helps him make a break for freedom.

Babysitting at the circus, the Optimist falls for the Trapeze Artist and fantasises he’s in the high wire act with her and faces strongman, the Bulk.

Roller-skating at Venice Beach, the Optimist helps the Girl, a racing driver and determines to win both her heart and the Grand Prix.

After meeting the Girl in Marina del Ray, The Optimist is challenged to a Hollywood duel by the Rival.
