Detective Anna

A brutal murder shocks the town. A man whom everyone, except for Anna, has long forgotten, suddenly appears at the crime scene.

Despite strained relations with Shtolman, Anna cannot remain aloof from the investigation. Two investigators and the medium team up again to puzzle out this complicated case.

Maid is found shot to death in the park near the Mironovs' estate. Suspicion falls on two of her suitors, but Anna fears that an innocent person may be convicted for her murder.

Viner, an ex-lover of the young poetess is suspected of murdering her. He had a motive. But Viner claims there is a witness who can prove his innocence.

Anna tries to puzzle out the meaning of Olshanskaya's posthumous poems while Korobeynikov has to go to a neighboring village in search of the witness to her murder.
