Rewind to the 1930s and three families respectively headed by Bo Tin-ha, Lin Chun-shan and Lo Heung-tung settle in Bangkok Chinatown.

Ching-wan is now known by his nickname Ting Sam-peng. He realizes Chinatown folks are harassed by gangs.

Kam Lung meets up with military officer George. Fuk-mui eavesdrops on the duo’s conversation.

Ching-wan and Chin-chin sneak into Kam Lung’s big son Kam Yiu-lung’s warehouse to look for Siu-yau.

Lin Gik helps Fuk-mui get out of danger. He also promises to help her win Kam Lung’s trust.

After the explosion, the Kams take over the hospital as Cheong-lung is being resuscitated.

Pang Pai realizes Pang Kin’s wife Chiu Hung-fa feels anxious all day long as she is afraid of being cursed for offending the deity.

Chi-kong and Ching-wan go with Lin Gik to the countryside. They find out Lin Gik’s age-old secrets

Kam Lung deals with Pang Kin at Chek Ling Temple. But Pang Kin abruptly hits back.

Chin-chin is ambushed. The assailant has probably used some maneuver called Bagua Palm.

While Chin-chin and Ching-wan are about to reveal their romantic relationship, Loi-kut unexpectedly tells Chin-chin he loves her

Pang Pai tells the Pangs he arbitrarily takes his people to go after the mole as he has unexpectedly received some informant letter.

She even takes Hung-fa to Chek Ling Temple, and she also discovers Pang Kin and Chek Ling’s secret.
