S01:E01 - Medicine & Survival
Sam and Chuck travel to the Painted Warriors Ranch in Alberta to learn traditional Métis bush skills, including identifying medicinal plants, fire-starting, and horse packing, before being put to the test on an overnight adventure.
S01:E02 - The Mighty Bison
A visit to a Manitoba bison ranch where they harvest, skin and butcher the animals by hand leads to an unexpected adventure. The guys also spend time at a Saskatchewan First Nation that’s re-establishing its own herd.
S01:E03 - Mountain Lion Hunters
The guys travel to Southwestern Colorado to learn about the Southern Ute Tribe. Trekking through the magnificent San Juan Mountains in search of mountain lion, they come face-to-face with an apex predator.
S01:E04 - Trapping the Elusive Lynx
Sam & Chuck spend a few days as helpers on a large northern Saskatchewan trapline where they learn new techniques from Woodland Cree trapper Jarret Nelson. They also learn how to catch the elusive Lynx, an animal that Chuck has never trapped.
S01:E05 - Ice Spearfishing
In the dead of winter, Sam and Chuck head to Lac du Flambeau to learn the ways of the Ojibway, where they head out onto the frozen lakes, learning the traditional ways of hunting gigantic muskelunge in the dark waters of frozen lakes in Wisconsin.
S01:E06 - Culture Camp
The guys journey to Northern Saskatchewan to experience traditional dogsledding and snowshoeing at a remote camp that is helping keep Cree culture and language alive.
S01:E07 - Arctic Adventure
A journey to Canada’s arctic gives Sam & Chuck a new appreciation for the far north and the people who live there. They experience a landscape and a traditional hunt that neither of them have ever seen.
S01:E08 - Goose Break
In northern Quebec, Sam does something he’s never done before—he goes goose hunting and learns how special this bird is to the Cree people. It’s also a chance for him to take part in a Cree right of passage.
S01:E09 - Black Bear Bow Hunt
In the boreal forest of northern Alberta, at risk moose populations are further in danger because of mounting bear numbers. To combat that, Sam & Chuck join a Métis father and son duo for a black bear hunt using only a bow.
S01:E10 - East Coast Eeling
Using handcrafted specially designed spears, Sam & Chuck brave coastal waters in the dead of night to hunt eels with a family of Mi’kmaq hunters in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
S01:E11 - The Hardest Hunt on Earth
In the remote mountains of Yukon, Sam and Chuck meet Sammy White, from Kluane First Nation. Sam joins Sammy on an adventure of a lifetime in the mountains of the Yukon, as they track the majestic Dall sheep, on what many call the hardest hunt on earth.

Along the south shares of Lake Superior, in Bad River, Wisconsin, You'll find the best wild rice in the world. The Ojibway have a special relationship with Manoomin, or wild rice. The guys learn what it takes to harvest and process this unique food.
