The ladies are put to work via a special guest mentor, Olympian Hazel Clark. The ladies learn the value of hard work, but also another crucial lesson.

After an informative boardroom session featuring Lorraine Smith, mother of R&B sensation Ne-Yo, Shawnta tasks the ladies with finding items from their lives that only serve to hold them back.
S01:E05 - Don't Miss the Boat
Shawnta, still reeling from her mother's medical scare has them women construct a boat. She informs them that this cardboard boat must be sea-worthy and support a person on the water.
S01:E06 - Smoothie Sailing
After an important lesson about goods in the marketplace, Shawnta has the ladies relocate to a working farm to "get their hands dirty" with some physical labor.
S01:E07 - Don't Underestimate the Small Things
The ladies learn a powerful lesson about how small issues can quickly escalate to big problems. With the help of a spooky trip to a miniature golf course, these ladies find out just how complicated a simple task can become.
S01:E08 - Reflecting on Success
Shawnta and the ladies reflect on the journey thus far and celebrate some of the accomplishments and growth they have made in the program. Life will never be the same things to Shawnta, and the amazing journey she orchestrated.
S01:E09 - Home to Roost
The ladies learn a powerful lesson about diversifying their income and not leaving all their "eggs in one basket". To illustrate this point, Shawnta has the ladies corralling chickens, culminating with a challenge that takes place in the middle of an active open house.
