Saving Hope

In the second half of a two-part episode Charlie returns to Hope Zion to find Spirit Maggie confused and disorientated. In a race against time, Charlie struggles to find his colleague, as news of Maggie Lin’s injury sweeps across the hospital. Straddling the divide between life and death, Maggie’s fate lies in the surgical hands of Shahir, but her fate as a spirit is left to Charlie as she wanders the halls of Hope Zion. Meanwhile Alex, struggling with her part in saving the bomber while her friend was injured, becomes determined to make amends by saving Maggie’s last patient. Alex dives right in to provide care to the pregnant Shelby, along with Dr. Sydney Katz. But when the complications threaten her leg, the surgeons must convince Shelby and her husband that letting go is sometimes the only thing standing in between you and getting better. In the ER, Cassie and Bishop help a bereaved father deal with the death of his daughter. The wound is closing, and the healing begins, this week at Hope Zion.
