Sullivan & Son

In the series premiere, Steve Sullivan (series star STEVE BYRNE) returns home to Pittsburgh to celebrate his father, Jack Sullivan's birthday (series star DAN LAURIA). He quickly learns that Jack is retiring and selling the family bar Sullivan & Son. Steve contemplates leaving his New York corporate life behind to buy the bar from his parents.

After getting into an argument with his Korean mother Ok Cha (series star JODI LONG), Steve decides to set boundaries with his parents now that he is in charge. But when the health inspector shows up, his newfound leadership is tested and his troubles with the bar translate into some unexpected jail time. Meanwhile, Owen (series star OWEN BENJAMIN) suddenly finds a job and new meaning in life, but it seems too good to be true.

During the annual 'Father and Son Darts Tournament,' Owen decides he wants to search his real dad as Jack works out his abandonment issues with Steve. And Hank and Carol try to hide an old secret.

Steve hosts a party for the 50th year of Sullivan & Son. Owen and Carol act as each others' wingmen. Jack and Ok Cha (series star Jodi Long) argue about old lies. Steve and Melanie (series star Valerie Azlynn) uncover a secret about the origins of the bar.

A thief threatens Steve and Melanie's personal and professional relationships. Owen and Ahmed (guest star AHMED AHMED) enter an "offbeat" business. Carol and Hank share new and old ways to go on dates.

Owen and Carol bring a new act to the bar, while Steve and Melanie uncover middle school mysteries.

Carol falls into a funk when she learns she's going through menopause. In an attempt to convince Carol she's still attractive, Ahmed crosses a line.

Steve's grifter aunt, Jo (guest star KERRI KENNEY) comes into town and shakes things up at the bar. Doug tries to find his mojo and get his groove back. Susan confronts Ok Cha about her criticizing ways.

Steve takes on Hank as a client after one of Hank's coworkers (guest star WILL SASSO) files an HR complaint against him for making racist remarks. Despite their initial hesitation, the gang rallies behind Hank. Meanwhile, Susan and her mother bond and spend time together after Susan provides her mother with a fake ID granting her senior citizen status.
