S01:E03 - How Bill Met Susan
S01:E01 - Good People
Set in a Denver suburb, "The Bill Engvall Show" stars comedian Bill Engvall as a family counselor whose own family could maybe use a dose of counseling. In the series premiere, Bill (series star BILL ENGVALL) gets carried away when his son, Trent (series regular GRAHAM PATRICK MARTIN), finally has a chance to play quarterback for his high school football team. But Bill's overzealous "coaching" causes Trent to banish him from attending the big game. Meanwhile, his teenage daughter, Lauren (series regular JENNIFER LAWRENCE) struggles to obey her parents' wishes that she not pierce her bellybutton.
S01:E02 - Aloha, Raffles
Bill and the family are faced with a difficult decision when Raffles, the family dog, falls ill before a much-anticipated trip to Hawaii. The Pearsons must decide whether or not to use their vacation money to pay for an operation that may or may not save Raffles' life.
S01:E03 - How Bill Met Susan
To celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary, Bill's long-suffering wife, Susan (series star NANCY TRAVIS), gets Bill tickets to a Broncos game. Their plans are derailed, however, after Bill reveals that when he and Susan first started dating, he was also seeing another woman.
S01:E04 - Have You Seen the Muffins, Man?
Susan wants to earn a little extra spending money, so she decides to sell homemade muffins. When her business becomes surprisingly successful, Bill is left to pick up the slack at home.
S01:E06 - Jealous Guy
Susan complains to Bill that they are in a romance rut. Bill decides to surprise Susan with tickets to a Chris Isaak concert. But Bill is the one in for a surprise when Susan reveals that she and Chris Isaak (as HIMSELF) have a history together.
S01:E07 - The Birthday
Bill asks for a motorcycle for his 46th birthday. His family and friends suggest that he's having a mid-life crisis. Bill argues, but it becomes more and more clear that they may be right. Bill is also troubled by a budding romance between his mother and his grumpy neighbor, Mr. Faulkner (guest star BRIAN DOYLE MURRAY).
S01:E08 - Go Ahead, See if I Karaoke
Bill becomes overprotective of Lauren when she starts dating an older boy. Meanwhile, after a raucous night at a Denver Karaoke bar, Bill sees a wilder side of Susan that he likes.
