S01:E01 - Hazel and the Playground
Hazel campaigns to have the neighborhood's botanical gardens turned into a playground. Her idea is approved and she gains not only the sympathy of Mr. Pruett, but also a potential client for George.
S01:E02 - Hazel Makes a Will
Hazel wants George to warm up to the idea of giving her a raise, but he refuses and Hazel is furious. Later, Hazel decides to write up a will, but George thinks she's planning a lawsuit against him.
S01:E03 - Hazel Plays Nurse
George has a big meeting with his client Mr. Griffin to discuss a merger, but George has a cold. Hazel puts George in bed, and she tends to a sick Mr. Griffin as well as the deal gets done by phone.
S01:E04 - A Matter of Principle
George defends Hazel in court for her traffic violation. Despite Hazel's unusual courtroom behavior, George manages to prove her innocence, win a client's confidence and gain his family's admiration.
S01:E05 - Dorothy's New Client
Dorothy is having a hard time paying the bills with her interior decorating business struggling. Hazel convinces the new family in town to hire Dorothy, not her competitor, to decorate their home.
S01:E06 - What'll We Watch Tonight?
George buys a new TV set for Hazel's room so the rest of the family can have the living room TV to themselves. But everyone ends up in Hazel's room when they see her new color model.
S01:E07 - A Dog for Harold
Harold brings a stray dog home that he and Hazel hope to keep, but George is firmly opposed to the idea. Hazel and Dorothy try and convince George that the dog is good for burglar prevention.
S01:E08 - George's Niece
George's sister Deirdre Thompson and her teenage daughter Nancy come to town. Hazel arranges a date between her nephew Eddy, and Nancy, much to Mrs. Thompson's displeasure.
S01:E09 - Everybody's Thankful but Us Turkeys
Hazel isn't having dinner with her own family at Thanksgiving, but she's excited to join the Baxters and their relatives. Much of the family is unhappy and argumentative until Hazel improves matters.
S01:E10 - Winter Wonderland
Hazel is in a hurry to go on vacation at Snowman's Lodge, while George doesn't really want to make the trip. Hazel, with the help of one of the Sunshine Girls, gets George and herself up there.
S01:E11 - Hazel's Winning Personality
Hazel takes a night school class on personality improvement, and starts handing out phony compliments to everyone. When it doesn't work on anyone, she goes back to being her old blunt self.
S01:E12 - Hazel's Christmas Shopping
Hazel wants to get Dorothy a dresser set for Christmas and she takes a job at the department store to start saving. When Hazel helps catch a shoplifter, the dresser set becomes her reward.
S01:E13 - Dorothy's Obsession
Dorothy tries to convince her friend Peggy that she needs an antique desk. When Peggy's husband sees the bill, they both go to the Baxters to argue the point, and George ends up buying a piano.
S01:E14 - Hazel's Dog Days
The Baxter's family dog may be reclaimed by his original owners, Mr. Wagner and his daughter. But when the daughter sees the poodle the Baxter's have been caring for, she agrees to make a trade.
S01:E15 - Replacement for Phoebe
The Baxter's neighbors, the Johnsons, come to Hazel for help after their maid quit. Hazel auditions a few replacements, and picks Gertrude, who soon quits. The Johnsons end up being happy with Agnes.
S01:E16 - Hazel's Famous Recipes
Hazel is discouraged when she can't find a publisher for her cookbook, until George's friend agrees to do it. Hazel ends up being happy when her book doesn't get published after all.
S01:E17 - Hazel's Tough Customer
Hazel convinces a lonely Mr. Griffin to move out of the city and buy a house near the Baxter's. Mr. Griffin ends up falling for Hazel and proposing, but Hazel declines and introduces him to Maybelle.
S01:E18 - Hazel's Secret Wish
Hazel ends up going to an exclusive resort for rich women, where she finds some of the guests to be snobbish and rude, but befriends a maid an aristocrat.
S01:E19 - Hazel, the Tryst-Buster
Trudy Garson, a girl George had dated before Dorothy, wants to break up with her husband Fred and seeks George's legal advice. Hazel thinks Trudy wants to break up the Baxter's marriage.
S01:E20 - The Investment Club
Hazel and her friends organize an investment club, and George wants nothing to do with it. George's cousin Charles, who is being tricked by shady investors, encourages the girls to "buy Brazilian."
