Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Ikoma survives and joins the Kotetsujyo. Mumei appears and saves others with her fierce combat skills.

Kotetsujyo flees Kenkin Station. The crew turns on Ikoma and Mumei. Ayame struggles to maintain control.

Ikoma and Mumei are locked away. The Kabane attack again, and a learning Kabane called Wazatori appears.

Kotetsujyo rescues survivors. Mumei reunites with Enoku, who shakes her resolve. She takes on a reckless battle.

Facing a massive Kabane swarm, Ikoma and Mumei are trapped below an abandoned station. Ikoma stands to fight.

At Shitori Station, the group finally finds brief peace. Supplies are short and negotiations begin.

Biba, Mumei’s brother, appears. While seen as a hero, Ikoma distrusts him for turning Mumei into a Kabaneri.

The Shogunate blocks the way to Kongokaku. Biba kills the Iwado lord and starts a revolt.

The Hunters control Kokujyo. Blood is demanded. Ikoma leads a plan to save everyone and rescue Mumei.

Biba reunites with his father. Mumei's transformation nears. Ikoma, broken and scared, loses his will.

Mumei transforms as Kabane overrun Kongokaku. Modified again, Ikoma returns to rescue her despite the danger.
