Li Xiaoyao returns home but loses the memories of the island due to a pill. The Moon Worship Cult captures Zhao Linger at the inn.
S01:E03 - Episode 3
Li Xiaoyao saves Zhao Linger from the cult. He does not remember her, but he agrees to escort her to Nanzhao to find the mother of Linger.
S01:E04 - Episode 4
The duo arrives in Suzhou. Li Xiaoyao gets into a fight with the spoiled daughter of the Lin family, Lin Yueru, during a street encounter.
S01:E05 - Episode 5
Li Xiaoyao accidentally wins a martial arts competition. He is forced to become the husband of Lin Yueru by the father of Yueru.

Zhao Linger transforms into a snake form and flees in fear. Li Xiaoyao and Lin Yueru team up to search for the missing Zhao Linger.

The group investigates the Hidden Dragon Cave. They encounter the Fox Spirit and the Snake Demon who have been kidnapping local girls.

At the Jade Buddha Temple, the heroes meet a monk who is actually a spiritual bead. The bead joins them to help Zhao Linger.

The team arrives at White River Village. They meet a doctor who is trying to cure a plague that turns villagers into zombies.
S01:E11 - Episode 11
Li Xiaoyao enters the General Tomb to find the source of the zombie infection. He discovers a powerful ghost general guarding the depths.
S01:E12 - Episode 12
After a fierce battle, they defeat the Blood Demon. The group acquires the Earth Spirit Bead, which helps Zhao Linger recover her strength.
S01:E13 - Episode 13
The Moon Worship Cult continues the pursuit of the group. Han Duoyi appears and attempts to take Zhao Linger by force.
S01:E14 - Episode 14
The travelers reach Yangzhou. A mysterious thief steals their belongings. Li Xiaoyao vows to catch the thief and recover the items.

Li Xiaoyao discovers that the thief is a woman named Ji Sanniang who helps the poor. He helps her resolve a conflict with officials.
S01:E16 - Episode 16
The team obtains the Wind Spirit Bead in Yangzhou. They continue the journey toward the capital city to find Liu Jinyuan.
S01:E17 - Episode 17
They reunite with Liu Jinyuan in the capital. He is suffering from a strange illness that no doctor can seem to cure.
S01:E18 - Episode 18
Li Xiaoyao discovers a giant spider demon in the forest. A butterfly spirit named Caiyi is trying to protect Liu Jinyuan.
S01:E19 - Episode 19
The spider demon is defeated. Caiyi sacrifices the life of Caiyi to save Liu Jinyuan, leaving everyone in deep sorrow.
S01:E20 - Episode 20
The Wine Sword Immortal appears and teaches Li Xiaoyao advanced sword techniques. The group prepares for the coming dangers.
