After reclaiming a cursed sword and killing villagers, a possessed warrior fights a young hunter who is trying to rescue his companion, leading to a tragic, eye-opening climax.

Hyakkimaru and Dororo face a fox goblin at the border, where Hyakkimaru unknowingly fights his father, Kagemitsu, before teaming up with Tahomaru.

A crying Dororo is comforted by a woman resembling her late mother, but the woman secretly serves Hakumenfudo, a faceless waterfall monster that steals human faces.
S01:E13 - Hakumenfudo-No-Maki (Pt. 2)
Hyakkimaru saves a rebellious subordinate from Hakumenfudo's hounds, then destroys a waterfall monster revealed to be a deceptive rock mold entity.
