Deep down in these watery depths there are hitmen around every corner. From boxing shrimps to chomping sharks, not to mention a deadly shell with a poisonous spear, it's hit or be hit with these creepy critters, so get ready for some horrible hitmen!

Meet the snottiest, slimiest and most gut-wrenching gang of the reef. From snot sleeping bags to slime-munching babies, in this watery world, snot, slime and guts are crucial to animal survival.
S01:E04 - Food Glorious Food
Barney Harwood and Gemma Hunt discover the world of Australia's Barrier Reef. Meet the veggies and meat eaters, lone diners and pack hunters, and find the weird and wonderful connections which link them all together into one fishy family. Imagine eating something 3 times bigger than you, sucking the food of your plate like a vacuum cleaner or even digesting your food in your hands instead of your stomach. From pernickety pickers to bottomless guts, nothings off the menu for these ocean greedy-guts and table manners are nowhere to be seen. The reef is one nosh-tastic place.

The ocean world is full of fantastic fishy friendships, but just like our world some friends are better than others and some friends you could just do without. From the cosiest couples to the most peculiar pairings, these friendships are super strong because often these bezzy mates need each other to survive in the fish-eat-fish world of the Barrier Reef. Sea creatures have funny ideas of what makes a good friend. You might not be too impressed if your best mate dressed in exactly the same clothes as you, used you as a body guard or let you do all the hard work, but in the ocean depths things are a little different.

The Barrier Reef is brilliantly beautiful by day, scarily spooky by night....While most people are sweetly dreaming, the reef comes alive with a whole new gang of crazily connected creepy critters. At night the reef is like a different universe. As cute, colourful daytime creatures go off to sleep, the insomniacs emerge. The reef becomes a world of nocturnal predators, spooky conversations and secret gatherings. It's night shift time for Barney and Gemma, who delve into the deep dark waters to find out who works really hard in the hours of darkness.

On their search, Barney and Gemma encounter spoilt only children, the best and the worst parents, not to mention some seriously extreme sibling rivalry!
S01:E14 - Waste Not, Want Not
Barney Harwood and Gemma Hunt meet extreme recyclers in the Barrier Reef. They say one mans trash is another mans treasure and in the ocean its true absolutely nothing goes to waste. Waste becomes food, home or camoflage for somebody else. One strange ocean character even recycles its own brain by eating it! From snot-guzzling parrotfish to poo-cleaning cucumbers, not to mention the waste disposal tiger shark, everyone here is keen to be green!

Simon Coral and Danni Mantaray search for creatures that have the fishy factor. Barney Harwood and Gemma Hunt explore the world of Australia's Barrier Reef. The sea is full of sporting talent - there are sprinters, jumpers, even some gymnasts in this ocean arena. But which of our fit fishy friends will fall at the first hurdle and which will win the gold medal? The games begin with nail-biting action as the baby turtle team, the long-legged octopus and the nifty soldier crabs go head to head in the 100-metre sprint. The competition is strong with talented competitors coming from all corners of the reef. This is the ultimate challenge of speed, endurance, style, strength and precision - skills perfected by our ocean contestants in their struggle for survival. On your marks, get set - swim!
