Usagi Tsukino is a 14-year-old schoolgirl who is very cheerful, but clumsy, and is always finding herself in unwanted trouble. One day Usagi meets a talking black cat named Luna, who reveals that dark forces are threatening the lives of the innocent and that Usagi has the power to stop them. Using a magic brooch, Usagi is transformed into Sailor Moon, the chosen guardian who fights for love and justice.

A new house of fortune opens up in the Juban District and quickly gains popularity for its accurate predictions. But soon, the customers who had their fortunes read begin to act violent, including Gurio Umino, a boy who has a crush on Usagi. Suspecting that this is the work of a monster, Usagi and Luna decide to investigate the situation.

Usagi is shocked to find out that she’s gained weight from too much eating. Determined to get back into shape and fast, Usagi and her friends join a gym that advertises instant results for its members.

Usagi asks her family if they can officially keep Luna as a pet, but her little brother Shingo strongly objects due to his fear of cats. Instead, Shingo brings home a pet Chanela, a creature that smells like perfume. Shingo becomes so absorbed in the Chanela that he stops going to school, which worries Usagi

One rainy day, Usagi bumps into Yusuke Amade, a famous musician who claims he is being chased by a monster. Realizing the man is telling the truth, Usagi and Luna decide to keep an eye on Yusuke by staking out the venue where he performs

Usagi and Naru both dream of becoming a famous star like Mikan Shiratori, a graduate from their school. When the girls hear that Mikan is hosting a talent contest, they see their chance to achieve stardom.

Usagi befriends Ami Mizuno, the school’s smartest girl, who has an IQ over 300. But Luna, who senses an unknown energy coming from Ami, suspects her of being a Monster.

Usagi and Ami go to the city and buy a clock that resembles Luna. Later that day, Usagi is happy to learn that her mother bought the exact same clock as a gift. But that night, the clock emits a strange light that causes Usagi to become very impatient.

Several people who take the bus near the Hikawa Shrine have started to go missing. Usagi and her friends decide to investigate by visiting the shrine, where they meet Rei Hino, a girl with strong spiritual powers.

The Sailor Guardians go to the Dream Land amusement park, where visitors have reportedly gone missing. Rei and Usagi pair up for the search. But much to Rei’s frustration, Usagi is more focused on playing than finding the missing people.

Rei goes off on a luxury cruise with Ami after winning tickets through the local lottery. Feeling left behind, Usagi sneaks aboard the ship disguised as a photographer

Jadeite is given a final warning by Queen Beryl, who can no longer tolerate the general’s continual failures. Realizing this is his last chance, Jadeite challenges the Sailor Guardians to a showdown at the airport.

Rui is a talented tennis player at school, but Naru has noticed a dark change in her. Naru and Usagi go to investigate at Rui’s tennis school. Meanwhile, with Jadeite out of the picture, Nephrite has stepped in to collect human energy for the great ruler.

Ami brings Usagi and Rei to her favorite dating spot. Unfortunately, the place is soon to be demolished. Hearing the news, Rei decides to have a date with Mamoru at the park before it closes down, much to Usagi’s annoyance.

The Juban District is having a contest to decide who can design the best handmade wedding dress. Upon learning that the prize will be a free luxury wedding reception, Usagi, Rei, and all the girls in town compete to design their own wedding dresses.

A young photographer named Kijin Shinokawa holds a modeling contest, and Usagi decides to enter. Mysteriously, all the girls who have entered the contest begin disappearing after Shinokawa photographs them!

Shingo’s friend Mika gives him a doll that she won in a doll-making contest. But Shingo unintentionally breaks the doll and hurts Mika’s feelings after being teased by boys at his school. Taking his sister Usagi’s advice, Shingo decides to apologize, only to learn that Mika does not wish to see anyone.

Usagi receives a love letter from Tuxedo Mask, stating that he’d like to meet her. But she soon finds out that all the girls in town received the same letter, including Naru, who believes that Tuxedo Mask is Masato Sanjoin.

It’s summertime, and the girls search for a vacation spot so they can get away and focus on training. Instead of finding a beautiful beach destination, they settle on an ominous-looking mansion that has a very eerie service staff.
