Season 1 Episode 12 - The Island of Skipalong Pete
Popular kids TV show host Skipalong Pete is going to take one of the puppets away to his island getaway spot for a weekend of fun and relaxation. Sounds great - until the puppets find out that Pete has a darker motive. Meanwhile, Buttons the Bear gets stuck on Dan's hand...and he has a big date that night.

S01:E01 - Buttons on a Hot Tin Roof
Buttons the bear is working as a gardener for a wealthy old wheelchair bound colonel and begins a torrid yet dangerous affair with the old fellow's beautiful young wife. However, it's Dan that the colonel suspects of having the affair, and things get worse from there.
S01:E02 - Dan and the Garden Shears
Dan is unable to get his garden shears back from his neighbour Quigley. When Quigley dies suddenly....Dan is faced with the dilemma of how to get the shears back from his widow. Meanwhile, Buttons the Bear is led to believe that his new lover has a curse on her - any man who has sex with her dies soon thereafter.
S01:E03 - Dan and the Necrophiliac
Dan and the puppets attend a funeral, where Dan discovers that his sexy cousin is a necrophiliac. Meanwhile, Cuddles gets a job at a hospital in order to boost his self esteem - and Dan brings Lucky the Happy Clown home to show the puppets an example of how to be a good puppet.
S01:E04 - Buttons the Dresser
Dan and the puppets are working backstage at a Shakespeare festival. Buttons is a dresser for one of the great legends of the theatre, Sir Percy Quill, who is playing Macbeth. Buttons begins an affair with Lady Macbeth, only to find out that Sir Percy has romantic designs on him too. Meanwhile, anyone who criticizes Bill's acting is found dead.
S01:E05 - Cuddles the Manchurian Candidate
Cuddles gets brainwashed by the Canadian military to be a killer zombie when triggered by a code word. Unfortunately, something sets Cuddles off and Dan has to figure out how to stop him.
S01:E06 - Buttons, the Counsellor and the Counsellor's Wife
Buttons the Bear starts to have a torrid affair with the City Counsellor's wife, and quickly finds himself in way over his head with an obsessed woman. Dan devises a unique strategy to get him out of it.
S01:E07 - Cuddles Goes to Jail
Dan sends Cuddles to jail for the weekend as punishment for swearing. But it turns out Cuddles likes jail...and things go far differently than Dan could have imagined. Meanwhile, there is a mad testicle thief out loose in the city, and no one is safe.
S01:E08 - Buttons and the Geriatric
Buttons the bear attempts to marry a wealthy old widow to get ahold of her twenty-five million dollar fortune. Buttons' plans get a bit sticky when her angry son shows up and tries to stop the wedding. At the same time Bill works as an intern at the hospital at the same time that people start mysteriously dying.
S01:E09 - Rocko Gets a Lung
Rocko needs a new lung - chain smoking has really gotten to him. Bill goes on a game show to raise enough money to buy a lung for Rocko on the black market.
S01:E10 - Bill's Brain
Dan has decided it's best if Bill gets a lobotomy - He is simply too dangerous for society. It turns out the lobotomy doctor and Bill have much more of a past than could have ever been expected - the doctor is the son of a man Bill once killed.
S01:E11 - Bill and the Berkowitzs
Bill is warned by the police that if he is around anymore 'mysterious' deaths the cops may take matters into their own hands. Bill befriends a nice old couple named the Berkowitz's in order to stay out of trouble, clear his name and show he is no threat to anyone. Unfortunately, the Berkowitz's bring Bill more misery than he could possibly imagine. Rocko meanwhile, gets into a running battle with a nasty drug dealer.

S01:E13 - The Payback
The puppets find a suitcase full of money and pretty soon some mobsters come looking for the missing dough - A black and white homage to classic film noir of the 1940's.
S01:E14 - Cuddles Gets Laid
Cuddles is a hopeless assexual. Dan and the puppets set out to get him laid, which has very unintended consequences. Meanwhile, Bill reconnects with an old ventriloquist partner Curious Bob, a man he once tried to kill - and may still.
S01:E15 - Bill Sues
Bill the ventriloquist dummy hooks up with a sleazy lawyer to sue the family of one his murder victims for emotional damages. The judge however will have none of it and instead orders a stern punishment Bill's castration. Back at the halfway house Cuddles is tired of being picked on so Dan teaches him how to defend himself.
S01:E16 - Joyride
The puppets steal a car from outside a variety store, and head out for a Joyride. Little do they realise the car belongs to a mobster...and there's a body in the back seat. They are further troubled when the body turns out to be still alive.....and the mobster shows up to seek revenge. Also, Buttons the Bear hitches a ride with an odd couple who mess with his head.
S01:E17 - Mr. Big
A special black and white episode and an homage to old 1940's 'B' movies. Dan and Cuddles are drawn into a web of intrigue when Cuddles accidentally acquires a mysterious Falcon from some criminals. Pretty soon...he is mistaken to be a notorious and feared crime boss named 'Mr. Big,' and he comes up against deadly criminals who will do anything to get the falcon back.
S01:E18 - Buttons Goes to Court
Buttons sues his former employer - a peanut butter company - for wrongful dismisal. They dismissed him for violating his 'moral turpitude' clause, and it looks like he might win - except that he's having a hard time keeping on the straight and narrow. Meanwhile, Rocko has a lucrative mail order business selling Dan's urine.
S01:E19 - Rocko and the Twins
Rocko and Buttons meet some Siamese Twins on a blind date, and find that they like the arrangement. Dan has problems with his angry newspaper boy.
S01:E20 - The Twilight Place
The puppets find an old TV for a very cheap price - too cheap in fact. They discover the TV has some very scary secrets to reveal, and is not so easy to get rid of. A mostly black and white homage to the old Twilight Zone TV series.
S01:E21 - Dead Ted
Ted, an old prison buddy of Rocko's, pays a visit to the half-way house and tells him and Bill about a diamond he has kept hidden all these years. Ted winds up accidentally dead in the bathtub. Unfortunately, some other crooks know about the diamond too and come looking for it. Meanwhile Buttons thinks he has lucked out when he meets two lesbians who appear to want to have sex with him.
S01:E22 - Cuddles the Demon
Dan holds a séance and Cuddles the comfort doll accidentally gets possessed by a powerful demon. The demon demands virgins to unleash his powers and there is only one virgin in the house and it's not a puppet. Meanwhile Buttons the bear starts sessions with a sex therapist in an attempt to cure his mad obsession with sex.
S01:E23 - Prostitutes for Jesus
Buttons the Bear is afraid of the jealous spouse of his current flame. His fears turn out to be correct when he finds himself being hunted down by Charlie. Back at the house Dan shows Cuddles a magic trick to help him win friends while Rocko and Bill pretend to be terminally ill so two 'ladies of the night,' who have found God, will provide them with free sexual services.
S01:E24 - Dan Is Dead
The puppets think that Dan is dead. They grieve for him at his funeral...until they learn that they stand to inherit a lot of money. There's only one catch - Each puppet has to prove how much he loved Dan. This triggers an intense contest amongst the gang...culminating in a tv appearance on a show called 'Your Life is Fucked Up.'
S01:E25 - The Rival House
Dan and the puppets are pitted against a rival halfway house full of ridiculously nice puppets. Things come to a head when Corrections Canada tells Dan that one of the houses must close - theirs or the rival house. They make a dark discovery that the rival house is much more than it seemed to be.
S01:E26 - Buttons and the Dying Wish Foundation
Buttons the Bear is exposed by the media for running a factory full of illegal slave labourers. In order to save his name...Buttons attempts the ultimate act of charity by granting a dying woman's last wish. Meanwhile, Rock tries to help out an old prison friend, and Bill keeps catching Dan having sex.
