Zerby Derby

It’s a very rainy day in Zerby Town. Zack and Lily find a stream washing the roads away. When they get to the top of the hill and find where the stream is coming from, Zack, Lily and the Construction Zerbies try to stop it. They build a dam, but it doesn’t take long for it to overflow. So the Zerbies have to put their hoods together to come up with another solution, fast! Zack and Rex are playing hide and seek. But Rex is too big (and too yellow) to do a very good job at hiding. First Rex tries hiding behind a rock, but he’s too big. Then he tries hiding in leaves, but the leaves blow away. He tries hiding in sticks, but there aren’t enough of them to cover him. But Rex is determined to try, try again until he finds a way to hide so Zack can’t find him. Axle and Zack come upon a giant bowl the Construction Zerbies have dug in the sand. When Axle drives into it and jumps out, all the Zerbies want to give it a try. But they all end up stuck at the bottom. They realize they need to get going very fast to get out, but can’t figure out a way to get enough speed. So The Zerbies put their hoods together and try, try again until they find a way to get out.

Zack and Rex are playing in the Zerby Town sand pit when they discover a big log. They call Strut the crane to help them build a ramp out of sand so they can get on top of it. But the sand just falls apart. So Zack and Rex look for answers to make the perfect ramp up to the log. Chase the helicopter is always watching over the Zerbies, but he's having a very busy day trying to keep track of everyone. Zack offers to help Chase with his duties, but it turns out, seeing from high up like Chase can is something Zack just isn’t able to do. Fortunately, Lily comes up with the perfect solution. Axle the racer wants to join in the race the Construction Zerbies are having. But Rex the dump truck and Fill the front-loader are having a race to see who can carry three heavy logs all the way to the finish line. Not wanting to give up, Axle joins the race, but finds out carrying three heavy logs is a really big job for a small racer like him.

Zack and Rex really want to play in the Zerby Town sand pit. But the pit is so small they can’t both fit on it at the same time. They decide to travel waaaay down the forest trails to the natural sand pit and haul back some more sand to make it bigger. But after Rex dumps the first load, they realize it will take forever. Zack offers to help, but being just a little truck, rather than a dump truck, he finds that he can’t carry sand that well. So Zack and Rex try, try again to find a faster way tomake the sand pit bigger in Zerby Town. Zack finds Lily in the middle of the trail, trying to keep Zerbies from running over a flower. They try to come up with ways to protect the flower, while still keeping the trail open for Zerbies to drive through. Rex comes in to help by putting a rock in the middle of the path, but it still isn’t the right solution. Soon Lily figures out a way to protect the flower on the road without slowing any Zerbies down. Axle, Zack and the Construction Zerbies set out to build the best jump ever. One that lets Axle jump high enough to go over a tree branch and far enough to go over a mud puddle. But they realize in order to build the shape of the jump just right, they’ll have to try, try again.

Zack and Rex set out to solve the Zerby Town maze – something no other Zerby has ever done. But after driving to the center of the maze (which is the easy part) they get lost trying to get back out and have to call Chase the helicopter to come help them. But the friends decide to try, try again and set out to solve the maze on their own without the help of Chase. Zack and Lily discover that Bob the boat doesn’t have a garage. With Rex and Strut’s help, they set out to build him one. After a long, busy night, Bob’s garage is finished and it looks great! Now all the Zerbies have to do is figure out how to get his garage to stay on top of the water so Bob can use it. Zack and Axle are flying down a trail in the forest when they discover one of the turns is too sharp. Every time they try it, they go flying off into a pile of leaves which ruins their joy of going fast. . So the Zerbies set out to find a way to go fast and stay on course.

Rex has built a ditch that goes right through Zerby Town. Zack thinks it’s great, but Zerbies might need a way to cross over the ditch so they don’t keep falling in. They set out to make a bridge. But they soon learn that making a bridge isn’t easy, and they are going to have to try, try again a few times before they get it just right. Axle and Zack discover a great, big meadow that they’ve never come across before. Axle wants to build his very own race course so he and the other racer Zerbies can have fun driving really fast. But when the first race course is too simple, and the next too complicated, Axle realizes he needs to try, try again and find something in-between. Zack wakes up to find the road to his garage is gone. He bounces down the hill and finds he can’t get back into his garage. The construction Zerbies apologize and say they'll have his road fixed by the next day. Zack doesn't mind, thinking it'll be fun to sleep outside. Lily joins him in camping out. But when it looks like rain, the Zerbies try to find a solution that’ll keep them dry.

The Construction Zerbies have made a fun table-top obstacle out of a large pile of dirt. But Rex really thinks it could use something else. Zack and Rex set out to build a tunnel through the side, with the help of the other Construction Zerbies. But building a tunnel the right way turns out to be harder than anyone thought. Zack and Lily set out to find the leafiest place in the forest. But when they get there, they find there are too many leaves. They need to clear a path so Zerbies can see where they are going. They call Rex and Fill the front loader to help. But it turns out; moving leaves, like moving dirt, is a lot of work. So the Zerbies try to figure out a solution to their leafy problem. Chase the helicopter starts sleep flying while taking a nap. Zack and Lily try to wake him, but not before he crashes into a tree and gets stuck at the top. So Zack, Lily and Strut the crane try to free their sleepy friend from the tree.
